Karen and her Team put some of the top London hotels to shame. The attention to detail at The Laindons and wonderful service makes every time I stay a pleasure. The breakfast is also exceptional with high quality produce and always fresh.

The hosts - Karen & Malcolm were so hospitable & helpful. The Laindons Guest House is situated in an excellent location in Old Town, Hastings. |We stayed in the Red room which presented the look and feel of a boutique hotel room: High end bed linen, gorgeous toiletries - the facilities in the room and throughout the property were fabulous with every attention to detail made. |The selection & quality of the produce at breakfast was outstanding - fresh and locally sourced - we would thoroughly recommend the home made granola with berry compote - exceptional. |Nothing is too much trouble for Malcolm who oversaw the breakfast service. |We would definitely recommend this establishment & we wouldn’t look to stay anywhere else in Old Town, Hastings as and when we return in future.

We arrived at The Laindons quite late, and received the warmest of welcomes from Malcolm. Our'Red Room' was fabulous, with the lovely touches of amazing toiletries, a great selection of tea and coffee, and the cosiest of beds. Breakfast was a real highlight, choosing our food the evening before via a form left in our room, and was served in a lovely light and airy breakfast room. Karen was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble, and the chef was an absolute star. Both Malcolm and Karen are also hairstylists, and the icing on the cake, was having my hair cut and styled by Malcom, such a treat. A real gem of a place. We both loved it, thank you.

We recently stayed at The Laindons for a second time. Once again, Karen and Malcolm made us most welcome.||Their Georgian town house is beautifully appointed, full of character and conveniently sited in the Old Town.||We requested the Green Room which was spacious and spotlessly clean. The super-king sized bed was very comfortable and we slept well.||The breakfast was superb. Karen's home-made oat and fruit compote and cakes were delicious as were the blueberry pancakes with maple syrup!||There was parking close by and the parking pass, provided by The Laindons, was most useful.||We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Karen and Malcolm for being the wonderful hosts.

What a delightful stay at The Laidons. We are just on the train back and we felt compelled to write a review. From start to finish you feel truly taken care of. Lovely touches in the room like Teapigs teas and lovely biscuits. Really nice shower gel too. Pillows and bed linen were also exceptional and the bed was incredibly comfy.

Karen and Malcolm are very welcoming, and provide an hospitable, comfortable and charming guest house. They couldn't have been more helpful. It is very well located in the heart of the Old Town, the rooms are nicely appointed, there is a fridge where milk is provided, and the bed has lovely linens and a warm duvet. We will go again when next in Hastings.

Lovely stay at The Laindons. We stayed in the Yellow Room which was beautifully appointed with a view over East Hill. Malcom and Karen were very welcoming hosts. Breakfast was delicious and we appreciated the extra touches such as homemade biscuits and cakes and an honesty drink and snack bar in our room. The hotel is conveniently located in the old town just a few minutes walk from the sea. Easy parking in a public car park behind the hotel. We would definitely recommend The Laindons for a stay in Hastings.

During our roadtrip through England we stayed with the lovely Malcolm and Karen in their wonderful B&B. They make you feel very welcome and gave us the best tips for restaurants and sights to visit in the area. Karen made us an exquisit breakfast each morning; all homemade and tastefull. Rooms are nicely decorated, spacious and very neat and clean. Highly recommended!
