I would like to take this opportunity to thank the orthopedic team, the ambulance drivers, urgent care and all the people who have supported me during my stay over Christmas on the Trauma Ward 36 after my fall whilst on my Christmas holiday. After my 8 hour wait for an ambulance because both legs were injured on my arrival at James Cook Hospital my care was non stop from the time the paramedics arrived. After manipulation of my dislocated ankle Mr Egglestone has done amazing surgery of my Trimalleolar fracture. Since coming back to London everyone at my handover hospital and my GP who has seen the stitches (just removed today) and the scan of all my metal work, there is nothing but praise for how neat his work is for which I will be eternally grateful. Thank you for my Christmas Dinner and my lovely gift it helped to brighten up my stay. Looking forward now to be able to walk again at some point with the help of the Royal Free Hospital physio team.

I attended the c t planning department yesterday to be prepared for my pelvic cancer radiotherapy, and the nurse that looked after me was really professional, and caring. She couldn't do enough to make you feel at ease. But before that I was sent all over the place receptionist didn't seem to bothered, but when I finally ended up in the right place, the receptionist was really nice even though I'd been sent all over the place, when I arrived at the right place 45 minutes late through no fault of my own she was so helpful and booked me in for my appointment, l was so happy not to miss my treatment,l so 10/10 for that department and my caring staff.

This is a very big, modern looking hospital. It's so big it's practically it's own town!!

Attended an ENT appointment with my child today and was quite impressed with the speed of service. The letter reminders, the text reminders are very useful too.

They seem to work late (6.20pm was the appointment time), which is great for those of us who work!

Navigation of the car park can be an issue because it's extremely busy due to its size. The letters are specific with colour codes/routes to follow, and that, too, is helpful.

Can't fault the ENT clinic. They took great care of my child and fixed the problem (the waiting list was quite long though).

Most of the waiting room were polite but met with general staff rudeness. One patient was informed if their foot swelled and they were in pain to alert nurses. The wheelchair had brakes applied and turned away. Nurses ignored their attention and they started hopping the wheelchair around. I decided to take their brakes off and wheel them to nurses at reception with no queue and they visibly panicked and asked for them to be wheeled away. I myself was told I could not leave after an 8 hour wait as it might be serious and need blood tests. Was refused tests by condescending staff after a 2 minute conversation so the whole experience was pointless.

Visited today for the first time to take my Son to an appointment in trauma outpatients. Staff were all lovely and I am happy with his experience. Only reason I haven't gave 5 stars is due to the horrendous parking situation. Unfortunately there was no spaces in the disabled bays so spent almost 30 minutes having to drive round car park waiting for a space, I cannot walk far and did not want to be late for his appointment so ended up parking at edge of car park, not a proper space.
