Absolutely shocking, service. After being told that the two fillings I had put on one after the other ps by your dentists..had become inflamed and I would either need root canal or extraction, I opted for extraction, in which told there is a 2 month waiting list so go private. I'm ashamed to say that I cried not because of affording it but your staff are shocking and because I still have to work and like them aswell still have a day to day to life. It is so painful but am waiting for the private dentist to call.... they allowed me to walk off no antibiotics, not being able to eat, and to be in severe pain 😢 as far as they were concerned for 2 months.. disgusting wow

An absolute life saver.
I live 45 mins away and my old dentist stopped doing NHS dental treatment
Teeth in an awful state and I had only just became comfortable with the dentist. I felt so ashamed. This summer managed to get in as an NHS patient and the relief I feel is unimaginable- the treatment I have received has been excellent and the staff are very obliging

After many years of regular checkups and work, covid hit, shortly after I had an abscess under my capped tooth, I was taking 2 ibuprofen 4 times a day for about 3 weeks, I had phoned Hopton dental surgery to make an appointment, the receptionist told me they would call me when they can see me and no need for me to phone back. After about 3 months or so I called them again to ask what was happening, the receptionist told me I was still on the list and they would get to me soon. More months went by and no phone call from Hopton dental surgery. I was getting very concerned about the health of my tooth as I had lost the cap and the root was exposed. I phoned Hopton dental surgery again but the receptionist didn’t want to see me. I took a photo of my tooth and went to another dentist to try and get it fixed but they couldn’t see me however they looked at the photo and told me that Hopton dental surgery must see me as this was an emergency. I went to Hopton dental surgery and knocked on the door, the receptionist came to the door and looked at the photo but wouldn’t show it to the dentist. We had a bit of an argument about the situation and I said they are being neglectful. I somehow managed to get one of the dentist at Hopton to phone me for and emergency appointment after finding out from one of my customers that Hopton dental surgery where seeing people for emergencies. I explained to the dentist what had happened and she agreed to see me, she had to extract the root and she was very nice about it, she didn’t charge me either, the receptionist on the other hand was arrogant and nasty, when I arrived for my appointment she came to the door to take my temperature but she hit me in the forehead with the temperature gun, I thought this might be an accident although she didn’t say a word to me, not hello or sorry not anything, she went on to spray antibacterial hand spray on my hands but half missed and sprayed over my jeans, it looked like I had wet myself, she finally let me in and still didn’t say a word only a stern miserable look on her face. A couple of years have passed and I have found a new dentist that will help me with my dental treatment and they have given me confidence in the dental practice again. Since my last visit to Hopton dental surgery I felt too humiliated to go back, I would rather all my teeth fell out than see that receptionist ever again. This is a true account although it’s missing some little bits(nothing good) and would have made it far to long a review.

The worst dental surgery! Please don’t attend!!! Spent so much money on getting corrective work on what was supposed to be a simple filling. Please avoid at all costs

Joined as an nhs patient and all I've been quoted was private work and the receptionist has been no help at all. I've had things booked in which I didn't want and things that needed to be done well was supposed to be booked in and had not booked in at all even tho I have the paperwork. Awful experience when all you need is help
