The doctors, the nurses, those other people who aren’t quite doctors, are absolutely fabulous. We feel very lucky to have them to help us to navigate my husbands pd. it helps so much. They have given us so much help and support and have gone above and beyond. We REALLY appreciate them and are always singing the practices praise. There’s just one thing, I’m really sorry to say this, and it doesn’t matter hugely, I find the reception staff unfriendly almost to the point of rudeness sometimes. Not quite sure why this is as it’s not reflected in the rest of the staff. Maybe it’s a horrible job?

I have used many different medical centres over the pat 15 years in Sheffield,but this one is the best one I've ever used! They have a great online system where you can request an appointment online and I always had an appoinment arranged for the same day. Nurses there are brilliant!!! So is the front staff,always polite and helpful. I want to specifically thank Dilraj,who dealt with a lot of issues I had over the past year,is always super professional and friendly,and always puts me at ease. Cant thank her enough!!!

I have left a previous review that was through negative experiences. I want to adjust that to a higher one due to recent changes. The change of appointment application times is welcome and my support recently has been excellent. Thank you for listening to the patients. There’s still a little bit of improvement but I’m now reassured that things are changing for the better. Thank you for the support

I can’t praise this surgery enough! While it can sometimes be tricky to get an appointment (same everywhere) and the triage process takes some time, the staff have always been incredibly helpful and supportive. The reception team is polite and professional; honestly, I think some of the bad reviews might reflect how people approach them rather than the staff themselves. Every time I’ve interacted with them, they’ve been friendly and efficient, always replying to enquiries within a reasonable timeframe.

The surgery itself is spotless and well-maintained, creating a welcoming and professional environment. Most importantly, the medical care here is outstanding. The staff have gone above and beyond to address my health issues, and thanks to their dedication, I’m now on a fantastic path health-wise. I’ve been to surgeries at Grenoside, Lincoln, and Far Lane, but this one is by far the best. The nurses and associates are absolute gems—compassionate, attentive, and genuinely invested in patient care. I’ve never felt dismissed; they always listen, and I leave every appointment feeling valued and respected and most importantly cared for!

In a time when the NHS is under immense strain, this team continues to deliver exceptional care with limited resources. It’s truly commendable, and they should feel incredibly proud of the service they provide. A huge thank you to everyone at the surgery for all that you do. You’ve not only helped me get to the bottom of my health issues but also set me up for a much healthier future. I’m so so grateful! The Associates and nurses and GP’s are all incredible!

GPS are great , sadly the receptionists let a woman become distressed because she didn’t know the time a urine sample was done , I think she was dropping it in for someone , the receptionists were rude to her , as a observer who was accompanying another patient , this was terrible example of the receptionists failing to recognise a panic attack . Sadly this was a fail .

Incredibly poor service which is seemingly unable to communicate with Los Pharmacy. I wish I could say this is a one off but unfortunately it has been one thing after another with my entire family over a period of about 9 years.

This review is based solely for the front desk team who operate purely as gatekeepers and when challenged in any way, become incredibly rude and unhelpful.

It is not ok to mess up people’s essential medication and then feign innocence and ignorance. Do better.

I have always found the service at the Hollies to be good - my family and I have received prompt care whenever needed, and I've actually found the online systems to be very efficient way of making contact and getting the response I need. I've dropped a star because I can see that the online systems could be confusing to some and favour people who are confident using technology. I've also experienced long waits on the phone when I've taken that option for making contact. I don't think these issues are limited to this GP practice though, and I've always found the support staff to be approachable and friendly.
