I am a patient of The Hollies and recently attended the clinic at short notice . Unfortunately on this occasion I saw a locum who, it would be fair to say, appeared inexperienced and unhelpful and had to go and speak to another doctor for what was a fairly routine medical problem. The upshot was that I received no treatment, except for a blood test form, and have been left to seek medication elsewhere, which is not ideal.

However, I have been a patient here for many years and generally the medical care I have received has been first class, given the pressures our health service has been under. I always find the reception staff as helpful as possible, and although I am not a frequent visitor, they have usually been able to fit me in to see someone. It is worth mentioning how good the nurse practioners are and I would highly recommend seeing one of them as opposed to a locum doctor if you have the chance.

Although my latest visit has left me frustrated and in considerable pain I have tried to not let this cloud my opinion of what is overall a very good doctors surgery.

Been registered for 2 years i tried to see the gp but couldn't get past the assistant. My health got worse so i ended in the emergency unit in the the Southend hospital. Worst experience with a gp office ever. Ended doing 2 colonoscopies because somebody didn't complete the papers correctly and after i did the second one plus a endoscopy they cant find my papers... i dont want to say they're racist but something is definitely wrong. I will move to another gp as my patience is running thin. AVOID IF POSSIBLE

Rubbish service and extremely unprofessional by being incapable to provide me with correct information and guidance with clearly no care for the patients.
