This is a great little cafe ‘on a bus’ on the front in Aberdeen - it’s something different for sure but in the sunshine it’s perfect for breakfast. The breakfasts were amazing the Highlander is absolutely massive - 2 of everything and all the bits of a Scottish breakfast you just don’t get with a Full English Breakfast - Lorne Sausage, Potato Scones, Haggis. Would recommend this place thoroughly. We also sampled some of their cakes - rocky road, shortcakes all fantastic. Go if you can.

Been here a couple of times this week and had good food and service each time.
I sat outside at the tables on one occasion and the other sat inside, upstairs.
The food is tasty and good value and it's unique setting is really good. I had a breakfast burrito and a haggis softie (one dish per day!) and black coffee.
Will definitely be going back again to try more dishes.

I had to wait 15 min for one pizza slice which turned out to be some cheese and sauce thrown on some store bought naan bread. Call this a pizza Service was slow. The location is cool though and the concept is unique.

Quirky place for some food atvthe beach. Food a bit overpriced in my opinion, but possibly due to it being cooked on a bus. Order at the window before entering. The kitchen is downstairs and the top floor is for dining. There are a couple of outdoor seats too. Nice vibe on the bus, but it could look much better with a few tweaks and some seats being recovered. Think there could be a better place to store the vacuum cleaner rather than under a seat where people eat. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience and the food was good. There are options for various dietary requirements. Worth a visit.

Great place to sit and watch all the goings on at sea with boats, people, and sometimes the dolphins, although we never saw any today. The New York hot dog was lovely, as was the chill chicken burger.

We had driven up to Aberdeen on a customer delivery for the gallery and having a little spare time we did our usual trick of using Google to find a ‘cafe near me’.

This fabulous bus was one of the offerings on the Google list and seeing as we love something different it was an obvious choice!

The bus is fab! Bright red and hard to miss, parked right on the beachfront! It has an excellent menu and the prices are really reasonable!

We’d had no lunch having been driving all day, so we opted for the 6oz steak burger with a side of fries, it was excellent! Really tasty and proper skin-on fries too!

We had a coffee with milk and also a tea and the whole bill was just shy of £20 which we felt was good value!

You can get anything to take-away but we sat in and upstairs there are stools with a window view, or train-style sets of 4 bus seats with a table. They even had seatbelts still attached! All inside seating is upstairs so there are the traditional bus stairs to get up but the handrail is good and strong!

The views out to sea are fabulous. You can see the wind farm and all the big ships coming in to and leaving the port.

The view along the coast is very pretty and the promenade walk stretches quite a distance. Today was sunny and bright with a nice breeze and there were plenty of people but it still didn’t feel busy.

There are no toilets at the bus but if you walk along the road towards the lighthouse end then there is a big white building with good clean public toilets.

We really enjoyed our short visit to this part of Aberdeen, it felt very relaxed and not rushed and that’s exactly what you need from a short break on a long road-trip!

Thank you everybody! Great job!
