From the moment I walked through the door at 7am until I left I was treated with respect and kindness. The staff are a credit to the hospital. The meals were something I would see in a restaurant, compliments to the chef.

I had an operation at The Highfield Hospital on Friday 15th November, there was a complication in which meant I was to stay in the hospital until Monday 18th November, and to be honest the care I recieved here was outstanding, I had my own room with TV and bathroom, and felt valued every step of the way. All the nurses were outstanding, the consultants were amazing (I dealth with 2), the food was incredible and I felt very well looked after. Although my operation was done as an NHS patient, I think the way forward for me now is to go private because I feel I recieved way better care than I ever would in an NHS hospital. Thank you Highfield Hospital for the amazing care you gave me during my stay with you. I highly recommend.

I was in Highfield hospital on Saturday 23 Feb 2025 as a Day Patient.
Absolutely outstanding care from all of the staff I interacted with.
Nothing was too much for them, answered the call button straight away.
Very calm and empathetic.
Especial thank you to Sandra on Linden - she was outstanding all day.
Thank you for everything. I felt very safe, less anxious and well cared for.

I have recently had a partial knee replacement with Mr Bonshahi. the procedure went to plan with no complications. The nurses and auxiliary staff were exemplary. The food choice and quality was very good. I cannot recommend this hospital enough.

Recently had hip replacement surgery.
I was very well looked after.
I was kept informed all the way through the process.
All the staff were professional, attentive, cheerful.
All areas were clean & the room was comfortable.
The food was very good , well served and a good choice.
Follow up care excellent.
Recently had a follow up physio appointment.
Also asked for a nurse to check my wound.
Judith Beale receptionist was helpful in making this possible and arranging this . The nurse checked the wound and re assured me that all was in order. Excellent after care.

Went in today for day surgery made very welcome on arrival and shown to my room by Mark? I think he's name was 😊 room was very clean and had a big TV and comfy bed all the nurses were extremely nice as were all the doctors and anethests and Kelly was amazing on discharge thank you all so very much for your care ♥️ beverley not forgetting the food,,, was great from beverley,, Rossendale

I had a total right knee replacement at the Highfield Hospital and with the help of Kate the physiotherapist was discharged from my physio classes in less than five weeks after my operation.
The doctors and staff were very caring and informative. The immediate after care from my operation was just a one night stay in the hospital.
Dr Phaltanker was the surgeon that performed the operation and was more than happy to address any concerns I had regarding my surgery.
