Both times I’ve been here the Doctor has been running behind near enough an hour. But if a patient was to be 3 mins late their appointment gets cancelled. How is this fair ? What’s the point booking an appointment time just for it to be an hour later than the original appointment time ridiculous.

This practice needs to be closed... they refuse to put you through to a practice manager. They cancel/alter medication without telling you. They change where your appointment was to somewhere the other side of the city, they prescribe you the wrong medication. They are all my experiences with Haven Medical.

NHS England needs to do a full investigation into this practice.

Called regarding an emergency appointment. Rang at 8am and on hold over an hour. Told they can only cope with 200 patients and ring back tomorrow morning at go to A&E. This is a regular occurrence. Poor management and always rushed appointments. Dont follow up. Im going to have to find another option. Do not use these they are severely over subscribed!!

Our vaccine appointment was attended on time and had no waiting time. Mrs Wood was very friendly with our 4 year old and explained the procedure well.

Unless you camp outside from 6am in the morning you're unlikely to get an appointment, and even then you'd be lucky! I have an app that automatically calls the surgery at 8am and 40 minutes later when I finally get through, they haven't got any appointments, they'll tell you to call back at 8am tomorrow!! I've finally managed to get an appointment after multiple attempts - across the other side of the city, 4 buses away. Ignorant receptionist told me "it's only a 15 minute drive - no love, it's a 4 bus and 2 hour journey! Useless, utterly useless. I'm struggling with fainting spells from anemia. I suspect they're prioritising the people turning up rather than those who call in, which is easier for those who don't already live a 40 minute walk away and have special needs children to get ready early in the morning! (Yes this is my closest GP as well!). I've also requested access to my records which they've so far failed to provide. They're obviously oversubscribing the surgery and not employing enough doctors. Why is health care in derby sooooo bad?! I've got to take my daughter to Nottingham for an appointment because derby hospitals are pointless. In Leicester you could call the GP at 10am and be seen by 2pm same day. Poor management.

I got an appointment quite quickly, and Dr Argawal saw me. She is a lovely doctor and was very professional and does her job well.. I wish they were all like this. It's nice to be seen by a female doctor, too.

Never seen a GP practice that's so badly run.

I suffer from poor mental health and my medication has been taken off repeat for a follow up. Except they tell you that YOU need to call THEM. I have had no letters, no notice to tell me my medication that I rely on has been taken away, I only found out when I went to order more as I'm running out.. I never apply for appointments because the phone lines will be busy even calling as soon as they open there's a huge line.

I was told by a receptionist that PROPER appointments will be listed online in the new year. Well here we are now, and it's STILL only smear tests that are available to book online.

If you're researching where to go in the area for a GP. Avoid at all costs.
