What an amazing care home who really care for their residents and families. Rebecca the care-home manager and all her wonderful staff are absolutely amazing each and everyone of them, they not only looked after our Mum Sheila but they all looked after us as a family and supported her husband tirelessly throughout. We were extremely happy in the knowledge that our mum was safe and loved at all times. She herself was always happy living there and loved all the staff. Any one looking for somewhere to reside for themselves or a loved one should really consider this care home! 100%

A warm and welcoming home which treats its residents as individuals. The carers are thoughtful and respectful and there is a varied range of entertainment on offer to stimulate the residents who seem comfortable in their environment.

Short term placement at Harefield nursing home for a relative (nursing non-dementia section).

Poor staffing levels especially at night. Staff apologetically admit they cannot provide the service that they'd like to. High turnover agency meaning continuity of care difficulty.

My relative (the resident at care home) has disability that means unable to move but can feel, speak communicate and is continent. She feels that she has been treated with little respect.

For example last night she was left in the middle of the night after using bedpan soiled '''imming' in her urine: very seriously threatening her pressure areas.

During the day she has had to wait long periods of time for simple personal care.

Since the start of her stay we have complained to management every working day and have had conciliatory apologies and conversations with management.

Avoid this home if you can.

My father was placed in what was meant to be a permanent placement however we removed him after 72 hours. The care was non existent. Left soiled, unanswered calls when needing transfer and wasnt washed or bathed during the three days he stayed. Upon entry his needs were written down but nothing was acted upon. For example he cant swallow whole foods so needs food to be mushed and also needs assistance with feeding. The home left him with breaded chicken (whole pieces) in bowl he could not even reach. He wasnt encouraged to drink water so hence didnt. My father and us are broken from this experience and have totally lost faith in any carehome options.

This carehome deserves rating below zero, one of the worst in the area. It is even difficult to describe it. Relies on agency since permanent staff doesn't want to work there. No comment

I'm a regular visitor there seeing a client and staff are wonderful but it smells awful 😔😔. Really need to sanitise the hall way and rooms.
