Sometimes 5 stars is not enough! My Mum was cared for at home by The Green for quite a while and all the carers became good friends. They were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Mum went into the home full time, initially for respite, but eventually it became clear she would not be coming out as her condition deteriorated.
There is no place on earth I would rather have mum stayed. Each and every member of staff treated Mum with so much dignity, friendship, compassion and love that there was never any doubt that she was being looked after as well as is humanly possible. I could list the members of staff that stood out, but I would have to name every single person I met there!
Mum died peacefully at the home and everyone helped us so much that we coped far better than I ever thought possible. As I thanked the staff for all they had done for Mum and all of us, they all modestly replied that they were only doing their jobs! If only everyone performed to this level.
Thank you so much on behalf of Mum and all the family that you have helped through a very difficult time so unbelievably well.
