To be honest I truly belive the Care Home is very good and the Manager is the best and I know her for couple of years, I did work with her and she is very kind very respectful and responsible. I have never seen in my life a Manager better then her, and I am sure she is the one maintaining the Care Home in the best conditions ever. Not even mention how many years of experience she has and she is very professional.
I did worked for her in the past and I wish I will have again the chance to work for her.
5 stars is nothing comparing with what she deserves.

My Father has been cared for by the wonderful staff on Primrose Unit at the Grange until he peacefully passed away last week.
My family is so deeply thankful for the compassionate, professional and sensitive care he received there by these wonderful human beings. The Care Coordinator and all the fantastic people who work day and night to make this home one where an ethos of respect for loved ones is so evident, both in daily routines and beyond.
We send blessings and gratitude to you all.

Fantastic home. Well run. Clean and pleasant. Wonderful staff. Everyone was so kind and efficient. Good attitude and very polite. The friend I visited was so happy….!!! And she didn’t like being in a home before. That says it all.

My mother has been in the care home for few years and I am extremely happy with the level of care she is receiving. I visit my mother very often and I have observed that the care staff are very polite and extremely friendly. The nurses are always attentive to my requests and they are always proactive with my mother's medical condition. The manager always smile and very approachable. The receptionist, carers, and all staff always have positive attitude. I have observed that the care home make a lot of effort to ensure that my mother is always comfortable. The home is also spotlessly clean (always). I am at peace knowing that my mother is looked after very well and someone is caring for her deeply. Well done Team Grange.

My sister has been there almost 1 year.. 2 of reception very rude not welcoming at all👎🏽sent multiple complaints about y sister not having her pad changed now she pulls it off much to the staff annoyance she constantly has feaces in her finger nails. She dosnt get washed properly lord knows how she hasnt got bed soares. I asked carers how often they chang my sisters pad day staff stated twice a day 😡she is an adult have to remind the she isn’t a animal. I have sent complaints to manager lucky if you get a reply. Most of the staff are lazy sit on there on their phones all day. All this pictures of all the activities they do lie lies patients are left to rot in their beds no stimulation at all. Night staff are worse it’s clear they haven’t got adequate staff night time . Friday I went after work my sister had been lying in her soaked feacal pad since 1500 day staff left without changing her. Night staff do nothing only but creep in at night for seconds then disappear if I hadn’t gone there my sister would of been lying in her soiled pad until the following day. This place needs looking into and staffing issues need to be addressed. It’s a depressing place to visit constant smell of urine and poo in the corridors. It’s very sad. Treat people how you want to be treated one day you might find yourself at the mercy of a care home. I only pray my sister wasn’t in there during covid.these residents they have no voices. Lovely gardens never see residents outside always stuck in rooms or wandering around the corridors. These place make so much money out of people misery you have no choice no say. No empathy or proper care for the residents. Food is also served Luke warm I have seen sandwiches left on the side uncovered it’s disgusting. Constantly throwing out good we bring up for my sister
Because carers cant be bothered to give it to our sister. I am tired tired of complaining nothing changes. Lovely facilities but that’s it. What has happened to humanity I have lost faith in this place 😞posters around warning people not to verbally abuse their staff what a joke if they did a better job job family wouldn’t be upset utter disgrace 😍🤐this is what they expect from you. Frustrated family member

If you are thinking about putting your loved one here, please DON'T..
We have had a terrible experience with this so called care home.
Our Mum is 79 years old with Alzheimers.
She is tiny and frail..
Our experiences here are:
We're start off lightly.
Jewellery going missing, including earrings & wedding ring!
On many visits not being given her lunch, yes this is hard to believe but true.
How many times has this happened when we've not been there.
Walking into the bathroom door, black eye, bloody nose, swollen cheeks.
Was NOT informed, was told when I got there that day.
Fell again this time picking something up from the floor, another black eye, fat lip, swollen bruised face.
We were only informed on a visit & was told it happened that morning.
She had another fall last November,we were informed straight away this time.
It was so bad she had to go to hospital in an ambulance.
She had suffered broken ribs which had punctured her lungs and had to spend many days in hospital.
A couple of months ago my sister was visiting,as she was leaving she was told,
Oh yes, your mum stopped breathing on Thursday..
Thursday today is Sunday! Alot more was said..
The following Thursday the same thing happened, this time they called us.
They sent her alone in the ambulance with NO chaperone!
When we got to the hospital Mum was being questioned alone by a male nurse,we had to explain to him that Mum had Alzheimers,he said this makes sense now.
I want you all that are reading this to know that NONE of these incidents were reported by the manager to Social services.
We have reported this to social services, it is a safeguarding issue & neglect.
The Grange at this moment is under investigation

My friend received absolutely appalling care here last March. Complete neglect before he died after 2 weeks in the place. No complaints were followed up and the manager showed no interest or sympathy ...i wasn't allowed to speak to him as he was drugged up on morphine.. And asked for assistance. I also heard a male staff member shouting at him whilst I was on a call to him when he was first transferred from hospital. They didn't even give him any comfort in his last hours, left alone to die. When I asked how and when he died they had no clue of the time. If you care for your loved ones don't send them to this appalling place. When I went to pick up my friends personal belongings, they were all dumped unceremoniously into a bin bag. No condolences I was just asked to sign for them. The reception staff were not wearing masks at the time (this was in April 2020) but I was!!!
