Love this salon. Chloe usually cuts and colours my hair and she is excellent at listening to exactly what I want and offering advice if I’m not sure how to re-style on each occasion. The stylists all work as a team and there is a very positive and happy feel to the salon. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and welcoming salon. Nothing is too much trouble. You are always greeted with a warm welcome and the stylists are more than happy to take the time to discuss your wants and needs, to ensure you get the best experience from your appointment. Ive been going to Lucy at The Gilston Room for about 3 years now. I used to have very curly hair which I hated but no more! Lucy has worked her magic & I've never been happier. The salon is clean , friendly & relaxing. All the girls are lovely. Best coffee in Bishops Stortford. Highly recommended

The BEST salon in Stortford.

I have been coming to The Gilston Room for many years after a friend recommended me to try and it has been the best find since moving to Stortford! Relaxed, comfortable salon with the kindest team of ladies ❤️ and amazing lay down chairs at the sink so you totally enjoy the head massage 💆🏻‍♀️ Chloe has taken my hair from 💁🏻‍♀️dark to light 💁🏼‍♀️to in between, short 💇🏻‍♀️and long still maintaining my hair condition along the way. I have very thick long hair which at times hairdressers can find tricky to blow dry....but not here! 💁🏻‍♀️I always walk out with a stunning result and would highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
