Everyone is friendly enough, and helpful. Getting an apointment is difficult if you aren't up for waiting a couple of weeks. The staff and nurses seem to run the place and are good. Some doctors only seem to be part time.

Appointments on the day are almost impossible as they are for emergencies only , so the NHS is now the NES ( National Emergency Service ) The NHS needs complete reform.

Garth surgery has gone down hill to what it was years ago the appointments are terrible and the communication between what Drs are telling the staff to pass on to the patient is horrible.Eather the message is wrong what you get or new tablets have been waiting for you at the chemist and the message from the Dr to the patient has not even been given at all this has happend to me on a few occasions.

Cold, uncaring, heartless jobsworths. My fault I ran out of needles that they prescribed knowing full well they are unavailable. I raised my voice, I'm fighting for my life love, not worring what colour I'm dying my hair next week. They seem to be on power trip, get off on seeing you beg.

The surgery, doctors and staff are very good indeed. However, getting an appointment can be problematic unless one is prepared to wait often well over a week. I am pretty certain this is due to the growing population in Guisborough. It is now extremely hard to get in and out of the car park for similar reasons. Seems to me the powers that be have given permission for all these new houses without taking into consideration the heavy toll on all our amenities and in this particular case our local surgery.

I have never been more disappointed with Garth Surgery as I have this past year. I appreciate we have all had a difficult time but i have yet to receive a call back from a doctor from Oct 2020. I cant understand why a telephone consultation in a weeks time is acceptable and as a key worker 'after 12' isnt always convenient. All I need to know is why face to face appts. are no longer available. If myself and the dr are wearing marks etc then what is the problem? Covid-19 can't be the excuse anymore especially if ppe is worn.
