Breath of fresh air! Lovely helpful receptionists and lovely doctors and nurses. I’ve only ever come across one nurse who lets just say, wasn’t my cup of tea when it came to bedside manner! But everyone else is lovely! Truly helpful where they can be

Impossible to communicate with this practice. They don’t answer the phones or are constantly engaged. They don’t have any online services to book appointments. They only issue 28 day prescriptions for lifelong medications. They failed to follow up on abnormal blood results. No email way to communicate. I have had to resort to writing a letter and handing it in at reception and only sometimes do they get back in touch. Genuinely the worst service I have ever received in healthcare.

I had a terrible experience with this practice two years ago which could have caused me serious harm, and I received a reply to my review which I knew for a fact wasn't truthful.

My recent experience with this practice has been exactly the opposite; absolutely fantastic. The call system can take a bit of time but you are kept updated about where you are in the queue. The reception staff & GP were incredibly efficient and friendly. The health issue was (and still is) potentially very serious, but a first-class experience here has helped alleviate anxiety as much as possible over the past couple of months.

For that reason I have deleted my past review as I believe it no longer reflects the practice, and am uploading this 5 * review. Thank you and well done.

will be going through all the relevant governing bodies to highlight my experiences of neglect and inaccuracies and psychological gaslighting by staff
Do not expect to receive ANY appropriate care from this practice.
Absolute bullshit ‘service’
Asked to see a doctor, was told I was booked with a doctor
Appointment was with a nurse who did nothing. Absolutely nothing apart from stare at the computer and struggle to interpret notes (not Mary, Karen or the other nurse who are lovely)
Physiotherapist gave zero help or care.
Was referred for mri in April 2024 only to find out Jan 2025 that referral was rejected in April 2024
I was not informed all that time despite multiple enquiries to the practice!
Staff are unable to look at your computer records and give simple answers to your questions.
(Some) Staff are also unable to look at you when talking to you not only that some are quite rude.
Patient care is non existent in general.
The staff that were professional and friendly and helpful have left.
Management are rude and I agree with other bad reviews on here management protect poor practice with excuses such as ‘staff have forms to complete’ and other laughable excuses.
Don’t bother replying to my bad review in an attempt to gloss it over with further gaslighting attempts.
The FACTS of my experience I shall make know to CQC etc
And I don’t need to be told I have the right to choose another practice. I already have.
You have caused further harm to my health with your neglect and malpractice.

very unsatisfied with "specialist medical service". My daughter just had an appointment today, as she was vomiting and had a temperature, and the so-called "doctor " only checked her chest. yes, that's all that she has done. no check-up in her ears, no check-up on her throughout. The reason of her decision is because my daughter didn't had any temperature on the visit, but she was aware that we gave Calpol early today, and also the doctor saw her active and speaking fluently, so she decided that is NOT necessary to examine her PROPERLY. Even a dog if you take it to a veterinarian is getting examined properly, this GP service is extremely poorly. After this, I called and asked the receptionist to help on this case, she had done her part of the job but was very superficial, concluding that someone would give me a call to follow up on the doctor's visit.(like I am a doctor and I can see if her ears are inflamed or her through am not going to leave these things just like this. I don't think any human should be treated like this.
Also, the doctor said that she needs to take a caught syrup, but when we asked, what kind she said any. Without giving any written prescription for it.

Asking the system of booking to see the GP. The receptionist was rude, condescending. She keep repeating same words without listening to what I was to ask. And said” are you going to let me finish “? To which I replied: “ you are the one keep talking how come I am the one didn’t let you finish?” In the end, after she let me finish what I want to ask, she slammed the phone down ( though she did reply my question with an a sounding no )

I have been with the practice for 10 years. I consider myself healthy and won’t bother the practice if not necessary. They said all calls are recorded for training purpose. I do wish they review the call I made. People don’t call gp for fun. Most of the time we call because we are in pain or ill. A bit of understanding and politeness should be a REQUIREMENT to do the job as a (telephone) receptionist in a GP practice

I have problem with immune system and under treatment from 6 months
Hematology doctor said if any infection go to hospital as my neutrophils r so low
I have infections now as cant breath cough flegm fever
When I call this surgery always they give me nurse appointment
I can say that is because I am not English
Had bad previous experience in November last year and had 3 appointments with nurse and 3 different antibiotics
If I can't get appointment with doctor so what's the point that surgery is there
