I know there are a lot of bad reviews but I just wanted to share my own experience. I have a 16 month old baby whom I worry about constantly. When there’s something I’m concerned about, I phone up around 8am and have always received a same day appointment for him. I have never been told the appointments have gone but perhaps they prioritise babies?

Whenever I go in I have never been made to feel silly for bringing him in and have always been reassured that it’s best to get things checked out.

Equally I have had good experiences when I have made appointments for myself. I’ve never waited in the waiting room for longer than 30mins.

The nurse who has given my son all of his vaccinations is really top notch. She’s super efficient and so kind with it too. I was especially impressed with her ability to put him at ease whilst also effortlessly administering jabs into all of his limbs in record time!

Just want to say a huge thank you to this practice, they have been stellar at following up on enquiries on referrals, and despite the pressures on the NHS at the moment, have got me the investigations I needed after years of trying to do the same with services like Babylon. A great local GP, always took the time necessary to not miss anything that looked suspect.

I had to make appointment for my wife so I woke up and call the surgery. Manager pick up the phone she was telling me that I am shouting where is the common sense in that who is going to shout after waking up from the sleep Total incompetent service no common sense at all Forest practice is a 0 star.

I’ve been with this surgery for 2 years now but I’ve always had problems getting an appointment or even speaking with someone. I am 9 weeks pregnant. The hospital called me this morning and said I shud go in straight away and get antibiotics but the surgery won’t give me an appointment for today. The hospital has emailed me the documents but they refuse to see me. Who will then be responsible for anything that might happen to me during my pregnancy? The most rubbish snd unreasonable surgery I have ever seen. Will change straight away!

So far the worst GP practice I had registered with. Since the change of management you cannot book an appointment without calling at 8 in the morning and this is difficult for people who need to travel to work. Very very non-user friendly approach. Staffs are mostly just sitting and chatting even when there is a queue waiting to be served. Staffs are not motivated, unhelpful and very inexperienced (and seems like they have no intention to improve). Staffs /GPs are always changing as I meet a different GP every time for my appointments. Your personal records are rarely updated and incorrect creating massive problem for referrals. I would definitely think twice if you are thing about registering with them.

Terrible service. So many mistakes and miscommunication will leave you waiting 3x the time for anything to get done even the simplest things. I've had so many issues with this practice I honestly should have read the reviews before joining. Referrals and requests going missing, incorrect updates, speaking to so many different doctors and clinicians each time you can't tell who is who. Will be leaving this practice as there has be too many issues. When I tried to raise a complaint I wasn't allowed to speak to anyone and was told someone would contact me, till this day months later I haven't heard from anyone on the issue.
