Just attended the Fiennes centre..out of hours services. I cannot blame the Doctor who reviewed me. But the attitude of the receptionist was absolutely disgraceful. Stood outside for quite few minutes for the door bell to be answered. She sat in front of the monitor watching and didn't bother to open. I have to knock on the door for someone else to notify her...

Shocking experience. Appt time was 8pm from 111, kept me waiting until 9pm, despite being 31 weeks pregnant, with a temperature & struggling to breathe!
When I’d been waiting 40 mins a teenage lad walked in (didn’t seem in any kind of distress) sat down & was called within 2 mins!!!
Temperature was taken, the dr said I had no temp, yet the thermometer barely even went in my ear!!
Was told it was viral & sent home with nothing, despite saying my niece who I’ve seen had the same symptoms and has strep!
No doubt I’ll be back either Saturday or Sunday when I’ve got even worse for antibiotics!!!
Just because heart rate etc is within the ‘normal’ range, they shouldn’t assume that’s the normal for each individual, my resting heart rate is at 90, my normal is 60!
Will be heading straight to the JR next time, not wasting my time at Banbury.

Every time I bring one of my daughters to The Fiennes Centre we are just sent away and told nothing wrong with them, 1/2 days later they are at the GP again really poorly with an illness like tonsillitis/Scarlet fever. They are not accommodating to SEN needs and I don’t recommend going… useless!
