You looked my mum janet whiting so well on beechwood ward and staff was nice

This is part of Leicester General Hospital. You need to sign in on entry. Parking can be difficult during the weekdays. It's a rehab centre and has 4 wards each having 4-6 beds .

My mums at Beechwood Ward after having had a fall.
Of course when a parent is in hospital it's really stressful..but the staff just take the pressure off. It's such a lively small ward..where everyone you bump into greets you with warmth and compassion. After a week you're part of the family caring for mum.

I have some special thank yous. A huge standing ovation for Aminah the physiotherapist. She is the sweetest professional I have ever met. The whole room buzzes with joy when she is around. She has grit and determination to get mum walking again. All done with the utmost care warmth and love.

Joe her assistant is keen to learn and patiently explains the exercises she needs.

Julia the carer is a bundle of joy. She pops her head round the corner to check on mum frequently.

Pravin is amazing. He makes such an effort to make sure mum is comfortable. Always on hand to give nutrition tips and nothing is too much of an ask.

Thank you all for your efforts in helping mum. You are tremendous.
