The doctors are very nice. The problem is the total disconnect between one appointment and the next. It's taken 18 months to finally get a diagnosis of kidney stones. Even then I just got a short message saying what it was and no follow up appointment. I have questions that need answers but I honestly feel like I'm not important enough to take up another appointment. The text messages don't tell you what the appointments are for. Just when and where. At one point I had to call to ask them to explain. The health check feels impersonal and pointless. One question was do I do exercise. Yes I'm a fitness instructor. Next question was do I have a carer.... I'm not a car. I'm a person. You cannot help me by tick lists. It's really such a shame as this surgery was incredible when I moved to the area. I hope when they get the new building they have more doctors because otherwise nothing will improve in terms of patients actually feeling cared for.

Disgusting surgery and awful bully receptionists. My mum was having an asthmatic emergency in the surgery and needed immediate care as she wasn’t able to breathe and the receptionists refused to allow a dr to come out and help and instead offered an appointment in an hour or said she could drive herself to A&E. They didn’t even offer to call an ambulance. She ended up on a nebuliser in hospital. She had previously nearly died from an asthmatic flare in January because the drs didn’t take my mums condition seriously when she was struggling the weeks before and due to this her whole respiratory system shut down and she needed breathing assistance and nurse visits for months after. Avoid this place like the plague

No emergency appointments as per usual despite being in the surgery and sent to the drop in centre where I had a severe infection in my leg wound .
My husband tried to make an appointment this morning and was advised September appointments are not available but to try in 2 weeks .
I don’t know what’s going on but this surgery needs to get its act together.Sam the receptionist is excellent the only good thing going for it !

I had problems with my health ,and received visit
That afternoon, DR was efficient and professional
and put me a new meds, which I haven't received yet.
Results from hospital is very slow, I'm lucky the surgery
Responds straight away, and gets things done.

I am not one to go to the doctor's often at all, but I have recently been unwell, I have had to be taken to A&E for severe dehydration as a result of this and also came out in an all over body rash that was extremely uncomfortable. I managed to get an appointment which is not an easy feat, had a blood test, received the results today which are all over the place and not atall normal for me, but no call from a doctor. I have therefore called to ask to discuss the results with a doctor, to be told by the rude, patronising and almost mocking receptionist that the doctor has marked the results satisfactory and therefore, she can't give me an appointment for 6 weeks. As it's not an emergency, 6 weeks is their appointment time. I am feeling unwell, for the first time in years and asking to speak with a doctor, and the answer is "sure, in 6 weeks". I would say that it's the system that's ridiculous but it's not, because other GP surgeries are not like this. It's an absolute joke this place. The receptionists are so incredibly rude and superior and service just appalling. Has been for years. It's a disgrace.

Don’t even bother calling. You’ll be in a Que for over an hour and once you get through you won’t even get an appointment. Receptionists can never give you a time when you’ll get a call back, appointments or anything really. So disappointing.

I requested an emergency prescription today. Samuel was absolutely amazing and helped me to solve the problem. Excellent service and fantastic result. Thank you so much.

The Croft team are trying valiantly to manage under the severe strain imposed on them by out of control house building in the area. What was a village doctors now has to deal with a town size population. It's a wonder they don't buckle. So gold medals all round. Patients putting pressure for faster appointments means just 10 mins per patient which is simply impossible for complex cases, the doctors do their very best just wait knowing you will get the care you need. One of the doctors recently saved my life by timely intervention.
