Worst GP of all time. I’ve been with them since I moved to Leicester 20 years ago and back then they went above and beyond, this is absolutely not the case anymore. Staff make it incredibly difficult to tend to basic needs, I can’t even get a repeat prescription for medication I’ve been on for years without some kind of hassle? Not to mention the horrible reception staff who couldn’t care less to help you. This place is a joke, avoid at all costs if you’re considering registering here. Abysmal surgery

Extremely rude and disrespectful people working here, called for an appointment as a GP appointment that I had virtually which I get access from work said, I need to take him to his GP as they may need blood test due to the symptoms as it could be something underlying. The receptionist said they can’t see him today because it’s not life threatening, they are a joke if it was like threatening I wouldn’t be calling the GP I would dial 999 or go to A&E. instead she offered an appointment week after… what a joke my son is 5yrs old!

I am very pleased to share my positive experience with Dr. H at the Croft Medical Centre who has brilliantly managed my health issues over the past few months. Throughout this period, Dr. H’s excellent communication kept me well-informed at every step, providing clarity and reassurance. I truly appreciate the diligence and care I received, and I highly recommend Dr. H to anyone seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable healthcare professional. I’d also like to thank the reception staff and in particular Rose, who has been excellent through.

Two months ago I would have given 2 stars, but things are improving!
The booking service now has plenty of choices for dates, times and GPs available.
All the doctors I have had contact with have been great - (getting an appointment was the problem) - friendly, professional and well informed.
Let's hope things improve even more with the books as the GPs are excellent!

Dr's and nurses have been brilliant. However, the reception have always been an issue. When calling up after waiting in a queue the call will sometimes disconnect. When calling to ask for information outside of appointment booking hours you are placed in a queue and even when you get to the front of the queue the phone can ring and ring for a further 5-6 minutes before dropping out. Finally when getting through and hearing someone on the line the phone is disconnected again after I'd said hello. This has happened to me for 3-4 times in a row and only determination to speak to someone allows you to get anywhere. You can waste hours of your time trying to get through.

When asking at reception to book in for blood tests at the hospital was told that was all done before finding out that all that had happened was another nurse appointment was booked. When trying to sort this out was then told 'they had no idea how to book a blood test at the hospital' and that 'it was something I'd have to work out myself'.

When bringing in samples to be sent off within the specified time given (before 12), I then recieved a text a few hours later saying that the sample was not sent as it was brought in too late. This could have been communicated to me at the time at the desk if it was too late but I was told it was within the time slot.

Overall the systems and communication could not be any worse. Once you have an appointment it is great but getting to that point can really drain you.

We have used Croft Medical Centre since 2013, and occasionally experienced a few issues getting through but overall, the care and service from Croft has been excellent. All the staff have been helpful and polite every time!

I would totally disagree with some of the reviews, we have been registered with Croft medical centre since moving back to Oadby from the isle of wight about 5 years ago, my partner and I have had no problems with the centre, getting appointments or treatment whenever we needed them ,
