I recently booked a 2 night stay at Fritton Lake (using their midweek offer) for my partner and I along with our 9 week old baby and dog. From start to finish our trip was nothing short of outstanding. We felt looked-after before we even stepped foot inside the clubhouse. They were beyond accommodating to every need and the staff were so so attentive making our first family trip away from home so so special. The room was beautiful, the food was faultless, facilities were dreamy and we couldn’t have asked for more from the staff. We wished we lived a little closer or we would have signed up to become members there and then. We are already looking forward to our stay in the summer. Thank you so much for making our trip so special 💫

Well appointed clean warm cabins with a scandi vibe. We stayed over New Year when the weather was very stormy. Wood fired hot tub was lovely (couldn’t get it to light a second time though despite best efforts). Even managed a couple of BBQs. Warm and cosy as rain and wind swirled outside. ||Facilties generally were very good and staff super helpful. Looking forward to returning in the spring and summer months.

We had a brilliant time in our lodge at Fritton Lake. There was a group of 8 of us, all ladies who became friends through cold water swimming. This was our second stay at Fritton, and I'm sure we will be back again. The staff are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Erin was friendly , helpful and had everything all sorted for us to paddleboard. |The accommodation was very clean. The hot tub was hot when we arrived.|We thought the welcome gifts could have been better thought through for a group of 8 people, but saying that what was provided was excellent quality. It would have been helpful to have washing up liquid, cloths, tea towels and more toilet rolls. But when we asked for a couple of these things they were provided. So great service. Thanks again to ask the staff especially Erin & Sophie. From the Crazy Ladies

The concept of Fritton Lake is good but sometimes execution is a bit lax. ||Beware if you book a one bed premium cabin - the website says it has a wood burner but it doesn’t. The wood fired hot tub doesn’t have bubbles, but it does get impressively hot. ||The food in the clubhouse was really good. ||The cabin was well looked after and clean. I would have appreciated blinds or curtains on the windows to the lounge area. ||There was a really annoying motion sensitive light in the bedroom which came on every time one of us moved (even if we just turned over in bed). ||The shop wasn’t open although the website says it opens daily, however someone did go and get me what I needed. ||The welcome hamper was really nice and included bread, sausages and bacon, eggs, milk, coffee tea and sugar, porridge, little jams and butter (plus a few other bits I can’t remember). ||The gym was excellent. ||The staff were helpful, especially when there was a problem.

This was our first night away with our puppy and Fritton lake was perfect for it ! The place was clean, beautiful and the family room was really spacious. |I loved the fact that the lamps were on and the radio on when we arrived in the room - lovely touch. |The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a relaxing stay and were all really welcoming. |Especially Jane ! She was so informative and kind. |The cleaners went out of their way to get us paracetamol in the morning! |The receptionist even looked after our pup when we checked out so we could enjoy one last swim! |We will be going back as soon as we can !

A very relaxing stay in this well thought out holiday resort. The lodge, Border Bush was spotless, well organised and only a 5 minute walk to the club house across beautiful fields. The wood fired hot tub was a hit and well maintained. |Wonderful warm swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers even at busy times of day. Great kids play areas for big and small kids and fun rowing boats on the beautiful lake. It helped that the sun shone, may be less to do in the rain and cold. |Also very good food in the restaurant which was a nice surprise as so often the food in places targeting families is average at best.

Sadly heading home after a lovely 2 night stay at Fritton Lake. ||Helena & the team were fab hosts and helped us plan a great stay!||Our hotel room was clean with plenty of fresh towels and a great breakfast menu. ||The facilities were great, pool bar perfectly located for Pimms & pizzas… with the 29 degree weather it has felt like paradise.
