Got told to phone up for a repeat prescription the next time one was needed as it was a certain medication. For my very poorly son who due to a misdiagnosis of eczema despite being informed of his pituitary tumour has wasted three years and become even iller due to misdiagnosis so is unable to sort this out himself.

These policies the surgery has directly impacts those who are unable to use the internet or walk to the surgery themselves. And after waiting 45 minutes just to speak to someone is also poor performance.

People do not fit into neat little boxes and policies should have room or have employees who can identify when rules don’t need following.

This is my family's GP and the service has always been great. The staff are always professional and treat us with respect. Occasionally there are wait times when you come for your appointment but considering you are dealing with people's health I don't mind waiting!

Let me start by saying the staff at Chorley surgery are brilliant… but ur services are in dire need of a review!!! I told them my mother was confused possible sign of infection as it has happened before I needed an appointment but they triaged me over phone then I was told someone will call me back this morning!! I took my mum to urgent care as I felt like waiting for your call whilst my mum was getting far worse wasn’t exactly the best thing! Thank god my mum has me because ther is no way she would be able to deal with your app or triage services!! I am absolutely appalled that you haven’t given ur new service any thought

Cannot fault the Chorley Surgery. All the staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. The Receptionists always go the extra mile, nothing is too much trouble and the Nurse Practitioners and GPs are excellent, you feel as if they genuinely care. Really pleased with the way the new online appointment system and NHS app is working, it made it very easy to arrange appointments for me and my husband.

I have just had an awful experience dealing with a receptionist and secretary at The Chorley Surgery. As someone has previously commented, I have always defended the Chorley Surgery, but the way I was spoken to today can only be described as rude and unprofessional. A call that ultimately ended with a member of staff shouting down the phone me and hanging up. I am totally stunned! I have just spent sometime looking at the comments here and sadly it seems that this has been and continues to be quite a significant problem with the Chorley Surgery. What a shame that the front facing staff are causing service users to see no alternative but to leave the Surgery whilst most are finding the clinical practice good which mirrors my experience.

Always a bad experience with this surgery, once I called them at 8 o’clock for an appointment and a prescription, receptionist told me she was going to speak to the doctor and will give a call back, never done it, when called back they advised me to try again the day after because I needed a proper a appointment and not a chat with the doctor. Simply a ridiculous service.
