I’ve had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Jane ‘Imaging Assistant’ a few times now. She’s so professional, caring and friendly. She makes the difficult situation of visiting a hospital and having investigations as pleasurable and comfortable as it can be - even on an empty and early Sunday morning. Thank you Jane! It’s such an efficient hospital and it’s highlighted by how their staff treat their patients. I feel lucky to be able to come here if I need to.

Following referral, I managed to get an urgent MRI as a walk-in last minute on a Friday afternoon, and I cannot thank the team enough for being so efficient and supportive. Jane was very kind and thoughtful, and Pam very professional and put me at ease. Thank you both so much.

A very efficient and speedy process. Met with friendly and helpful staff, especially Lara at reception and Jane who was assisting David McKean. Fingers crossed for a good outcome from my treatment, certainly if it is as good as the staff.

I thought everyone that I came into contact with was excellent in their role. Reception, ward staff, surgeon, anaesthetist, catering team, porters, recovery all were helpful and nice to talk to. The room was good for my day surgery and was clean. Overall a very easy experience.

I don’t have enough praise for my stay. The surgeon, Mr Biring is a jolly, positive gentleman; the anaesthetist Dr Size was excellent, allaying all my fears about anaesthesia, the nurses were all so caring and came at once on calling; the physio team were very supportive and friendly; the food choices are excellent and very tasty, the kitchen porters and transport porters very friendly. Overall 5 Stars, a most professional team. Only negative I can think of is didn’t get help on how to sit in car on discharge, which was tricky and painful.

Great hospital with great staff. Everyone super friendly. Call out to Sarah on reception and radiology, Kate, Nicola, on the ward, Sister Mary and her team. I looked everywhere for the food menu, finally found one so posting here. Only thing is to check your bed on admission as some of the more intimate hairs do not wash out. See pics. Food was soup or juice, hot or cold sandwiches, jacket potatoes or salad. Dessert was custard, rice pudding, jelly, fruit or ice cream - yum! WiFi is good once you’ve registered. Peter great guy, serves food and makes a decent cup of builders tea!!

Overall, my experience was absolutely exceptional at The Chiltern Hospital when I had knee arthroscopy surgery. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the entire team that looked after us. This is especially true regarding the wonderful experience we had interacting with Lisa Atkinson - the thoughtful, kind and experienced nurse who helped us every step of the way. She was so helpful and friendly - yet thoroughly professional. The facilities are very good and the services we received were excellent in every way.
