The Brightwell is a truly incredible place. Having been diagnosed with Long Covid in 2022 and with no medical treatments available, the Brightwell offers HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen treatment) to patients like myself with chronic long term illness affecting neurology. This treatment has worked miracles for me, after over a year I have made significant physical and neurological progress. Their physiotherapy team helped me build my confident to exercise again and overall the whole team and staff are wonderful and supportive to say the least. It is wonderful to see such a charity providing such fantastic services to the community. Special shout out to the cafe and their very yummy food as well.

This really is a hidden treasure, A wonderful place for therapies, meeting up, sharing a cuppa, perhaps a spot of lunch. The Brightwell offers Oxygen therapy for those with MS and many other ailments, also physiotherapy and many other treatments. They are a true godsend. Everyone here are dedicated, the most friendly and welcoming team of people.

I attended The Brightwell with my lovely friend who is a trustee and member and attends regularly. Even after my first visit, I was bowled over by brightness and fantastic facilities as well as the many services on offer at the centre. The friendly and knowledgeable staff, welcoming members and service users make it a wonderful community to be part of. It has such a warm and nurturing environment offering so many different things for those with neurological conditions. The newly opened cafe is a great addition selling freshly prepared food daily and there is even a small shop selling bags, books, clothes and other items. It is a wonderful centre that needs to be highlighted more because of the great things it does for the local community.

I go to the centre every Wednesday morning to take part in an exercise session run by the physios. It is a great way to support my mobility and we also have fun. There are similar classes at different times and days. Contact the centre for more details and cost.
Everyone is always very friendly and I also attend other activities when I can. There is a Christmas fair coming up in December and there are bingo nights etc.

I have been using the Physiotherapy Department at the Brightwell for many years now. They are brilliant. Caring and concerned they develop a series of exercises for you that stretch you and help you to maintain the physical ability that you have. I realised how good they were when they had to shut during the Covid lock downs. I have also used some of their other services to great effect. The Brightwell understand MS; treat you as an individual and can answer many of the questions that baffle other organisations. Lots of parking, all set up for wheelchair users and such a friendly atmosphere. I just wish I lived closer so I could get more involved with the vast range of social activities they lay on.

I am very pleased to be a supporter of The Brightwell via the Brightwell 100. We were introduced to this excellent facility by one of our colleagues who lives with a neurological condition and is a wheelchair user. She benefits massively from the support, physio and social life that The Brightwell offers. Keep up the good work.

My Mum has MS and goes to The Brightwell. She really benefits from the physiotherapy and enjoys the social events. I try to support The Brightwell with fundraising, when possible. It is a really great place!
