Dad has been living here now for a little over a year and what happy man we have. The love and dedication each member of staff gives not only to the residents but family members is amazing. Activities and outings are enjoyed by many, and for those unable to get out the garden is private and beautiful.

Temple croft has done wonders for my mother-in-laws dementia. When she went in she could hardly throw a sentence together. Now after 2 months she can hold a proper conversation. I cannot thank the staff enough for the great work they've done.

5 stars for temple Croft from the moment we sent dad for rest bite care and now he’s been extremely happy there as a resident. The staff are fantastic, the improvement we have seen in dad is amazing, which can only be put down to the wonderful atmosphere and amazing staff with all their hard work.

My review is only based on FALLS, I have no other experience with this care home. My 89yr old mother was moved to Temple Croft care home from Grimsby hospital for rehab after a very successful hip operation (many thanks to the surgeon). At that time she also had 'moderate level' dementia. Within 4 days at Temple Croft she had a fall, shattered the same hip and bruised her face. I'm told that at the time of the fall my mother had 1xOT and 1x carer looking after her. Between the two of them they left her for 2 mins, long enough for my mother to fall. There is something seriously lacking in staff training at this care home for this to happen. A resident should never fall if they are being managed. The consequence of this fall has been devastating on my mother's health and dementia in that she is still in rehab at another care home. The CQC should highlight how many falls occur in a care home. We trust care homes to take care of our family members and I question where the 'care' has gone. This is not an issue of money 'care' is very precious and doesn't have a monetary value.

Recently lost my mum Freda and she spent the last 15 months here. I really cannot fault the care given. The manager Ann and her staff give 100% to the residents. Very helpful and thoughtful all the time. Team leaders are always on top of things. A special thanks to Debbie.

Very impressive care home. They invest in training for their staff to deal with the old, sick and vulnerable. They have recently organised virtual dementia training for 36 staff members. It shows that they have their patients best interests at heart.
