Shocking! They let you down time and time and time again. They don't care about the cost at which they deny you the support you so desperately need. The only cost they care about is £££. I wish I could leave ZERO stars I really do! Avoid like the plague!!

Crisis team were good to have someone to speak to but dealing with mental health services at Tees Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Trust was a dreadful experience. First time I actually opened up explaining and asking for help about my own life long mental health issues including past suicide attempts, addiction issues (originally to help deal with my mental health issues) and self harm, at a time I asked for help for the very first time I was ignored, even cut off in middle of talking with no-one calling back to check up on me, ultimate degradation was a curt letter saying I didn't need help quite literally cast adrift. First and last time I will EVER open up to anyone, as I've done all my life (with extreme mental health issues also coping with my past family members and also now my husband who I am carer for) I'll deal with myself. Because of certain things I did in the past doesn't mean I won't repeat them now or in the future which is always a constant battle against but so-called caring "experts" didn't care less nor understand. People who stand up admitting they need help should be able to receive that help not to be treated or looked down upon as a nuisance. Money and time as well as lives are being thrown away hiring what were called "charlatans" who shouldn't be allowed to go anywhere vulnerable people as they are dealing with actual people's lives! By the way, one star too many.
