I had an assessment call within 2 weeks & my first appointment 10 days later. I've just completed a 6 week programme for GAD. I filled out my own assessments prior to each appointment and it was a collaborative approach with the therapist to work out the best plan for me. After 11 years of anxiety, I finally feel that I have the tools to move forward.

DERWENT RURAL LOL. via TMHD.Wouldn,t give one star if could give 0! Not fit for purpose at all like other reviews say and so true! You are just a check box exercise and they fill out your PHQ7 assessment themselves and score you when you,re suuposed to do it, they,re giving fake scores to make themselves look good gave me 6& 8 and said not suicidal how did she know when id actually scored 19&21, fakes!!!!, thats fraud. They don’t actually care and rude one was, very abrupt stopped her on the 1st session. The next one was no help and didn,t phone on the biggest week I had for suicidal thoughts and she knew it was a big week, never called. Useless business, no empathy. I will never speak to them again. Don,t tell them your life they don,t care.

Contacted them in March. Had a conversation over the phone. Since then I've been waiting for my first face to face appointment. Two letters have arrived. Second one today. I can't be bothered waiting any longer. I can't even remember what the point of referring myself to them in the first place was. Offered me something else. But in the course of time, things change. For the better for the worse. I can't say. Neither will they now. Cancelled.

Terrible service. Turn down people who have gad traumatic childhood trauma. Said they would help me only to ring back and refuse to offer me help. If you have any sort of addiction they point blank refuse to help. If you have any vices be warned. They will only help you if you do what they say. I thought the service was there to help people. They judge people without knowing them. They've done this to me twice now. First time they refused to help saying because my dad just died that I wouldn't be able to handle the treatment and now if you use Cannabis for pain relief due to having lived with cancer and chronic pain they say you aren't allowed any treatment. I guess If you have mental health issues trauma and ptsd due to childhood abuse that you aren't worthy of help unless you quit the only thing that helps with physical pain. They refused and said they aren't willing to offer me treatment because of it, inspite of the chronic pain and childhood trauma. Disgraceful people that will only help through ultimatums.

It’s a shame I have to give one star. You don’t deserve that. Not fit for purpose at all! I’d not sleep at night if I were responsible for that waiting list and lies that staff wrote! You’re just a check box exercise. They don’t actually care and when they lie and refuse to rectify you have to take it further causing more work and stress. Absolute backwards practice and surprised there aren’t deaths on their hands

Positively life changing experience! David is an absolute credit to the organization and I cannot thank him enough for all the help he has given me over the weeks. After 10+ years of fighting my demons he has worked with me to be able to manage life more easily. The support staff are also brilliant! I can't say thank you enough.

Okay so the support in the beginning was okay... Not great but okay. I would get a call every so often for about a month but then there's no contact what so ever once you're on the waiting list which is appalling as they expect clients to call them all the time which some people including myself wouldn't always feel comfortable doing. I don't expect a Samaritan style call but just a quick check up would be sufficient as I don't think no contact is the answer for people that already feel alone and/or worthless.

Now the main reason for the two stars is because I had to wait 26 weeks for a face to face CBT appointment because I felt that counseling wouldn't be the answer as I had issues in my childhood but nothing too dark so I just wanted to be able to better control my emotions that I have because of these.
The appointment would have been due a month or two ago - during this lockdown. And I received an email to say that I have been taken off of the list as face to face appointments aren't possible but I would be contacted when they are able to put me back on. So now I feel as though they're just trying to lighten the work load and see who would contact them after the lockdown as I don't see any other reason to remove me and then call to put me back on the list so I'm not expecting a call back... Just leave me there in the first place and update me sooner, not 2 months into the lockdown to tell me what's happening with my appointment with no alternative number/organisation for me to contact in the meantime or anything. I feel as though I'm going right back to square one because they're employing people that just do their job but don't actually love their job. You really should have the right people in places like this when in some cases you could be the last person a client talks to. I've never felt so pushed out and not worthy of help
