Haven't seen a doctor in 2 years, so i rang to make an appointment and the MALE receptionist was so rude, no manners not even polite he was very abrupt. When you ring before speaking to a receptionist we have to listen to a message about respecting our receptionists...well same goes for patients! I'm 51 and my children have more manners and respect....ooooh I can't wait for my appointment in 4 weeks we'll see how he reacts in person because this isn't finished yet! Ps I should say the ladies behind the counter have ALWAYS been courteous and polite unlike this male receptionist.

Oh my God to say about this surgery's receptionist.
They are terribly uneducated. They don't have manner or knowledge that how to speak with patients. And Their behaviour is like we are torturing them. They really change their staff and their attitude towards patients. Even one of the doctor have to change their attitude.

If I could give this place minus or half star I would. Disgusting behaviour of the receptionists. Talk about god complex. The way they talk to patients is just horrendous, especially the elderly. Not capable of treating people with dignity, shame on them all.

0 stars.. this surgery is unfortunately the closest so i have no choice but to be with it.
The receptionists are literally terrible. So rude and disrespectful. We are not below you to talk to us the way you do. We go in or ring because we need a doctor we dont ring for the fun of it. This whole thing of tell me the problem so i can fit you in is stupid maybe im embaressed to tell you do you ever think of that. Anyway that wasnt even my point. I HATE the receptionist so much and i think everyone should also know that they are the ones who mess up the repeat prescriptions. My mothers meds have been running out before her next delivery and they are so important without them she could literally die. The pharmacy has to email them atleast 3 times before they bother to actually do the work and send the prescription over. that whole surgery is a joke. I hate the fact that i cant change as is the closest place for my mum.
And appointments wow you could be dead and in the ground before you get an appointment in that place.

My partner made an appointment for me and was told the appointment could only be a telephone appointment, the MyGP app also confirmed that the appointment was a telephone GP consultation, the appointment came and went with no phone call so I called the surgery and the receptionist told me that it was a face to face appointment, I would have to call back on Monday for another appointment. I recalled having verified it on the app that it was telephone appointment but was just told it must have been some kind of mistake and there were no more appointments, I would have to call back another day. Makes me wonder how often this is done and if the NHS is still being charged for their time.

Had a telephone consultation on Friday 10th May at 5.10p.m.I had a text reminder on Wednesday. It didn't happen at that time but I thought I would wait because appointments very rarely happen on time.It got to 6 p.m I thought I ring the doctors .I explained what I was waiting for I was told that the person who should have rung me was off sick. Apparently I had had a phone call & text message the day before.Which I never did. I've got to admit I am totally disappointed with the surgery.

Not even worth 1 star. Disgusted at the surgery. A seriously ill elderly man who should have had a home visit had to be taken to the surgery cause the doc had no time. I had to watch whilst this doc pulled up the clothing of a man with shingles as if it was bandaid. The doc new he was in pain & getting him up & down of the bed was horrendous & I had to tell him to wait as he came of. It was disgusting, I'm disgusted at this doctor but better still he didn't even bother to wash his hands.
When an elderly patient requests a home visit then this should be given. If a patient is seriously ill then you don't ask them to go down in a taxi.
