Don’t trust any type of diagnosis or ANYTHING that is over the phone. How they can call themselves doctors and nurses is beyond me when they don’t even see patients and STILL administer medicines. Nurse gave me a steroid which thinned my skin (was not given this warning) which then gave me an infection on my arm when I had just a simple rash. incredibly dangerous practice.

Everyone I have dealt with since registering with them 5 years ago have been great, friendly and extremely helpful when there was any issues. Especially Doctor Ameh and Doctor Woodhouse they have been patient and understanding throughout my illness despite many delays and complications which were out of their control. I would have found it much more difficult to deal with my illness without their care. I think sometimes the issues that people have are not really the GP Practice's fault they are doing the best that they can with what they have to work with, I think sometimes little empathy and understanding goes a long way.

I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews for this practice - I understand that health can be stressful and that the NHS is massively under funded and under staffed and so the service isn’t great - but this is across the board! For what they are able to do, I would say they do a great job and have always been really helpful and the booking system is easier than most. I would have given them five stars as the GPs, nurses and reception staff are great and ordering repeat prescriptions has been super easy but their physio doesn’t know what they’re doing unfortunately so I would ask for an external referral if they want to book you in for a physio/in house ‘specialist’ appointment!

Doctors there are great and very helpful, the receptionist on the other hand is a little rude. I have been going to this GP regularly and have attended every single one my appointments, but recently for the first time I missed one. I called the receptionist back as soon as possible to reschedule only for the receptionist to hit me with the "are you actually going to attend this time?" as if she doesn't believe I will come in for the next rescheduled appointment. Very unprofessional. I'm sure this lady has never missed an appointment in her life.

There are a few receptionists who are very helpful but the difficult ones are seriously making this place hard to deal with. I get they deal with rude patients but I feel when you honestly and calmly try to give them more information they interpret it as an attack and cut you off, and then of course when things inevitably go wrong doctor's time is wasted, when it could've been so easily solved if they listened. I've been hung up on and shut down a few times now and it's shocking. When this doesn't happen usually things are really quick to action here and getting an appt is quick and easy.

Very disappointed at how bad this surgery has become. This is no criticism of the doctors and nurses at the surgery but the office/receptionists.
They have a system for dropping in your repeat prescriptions and it doesn't work or is being ignored.
Placed a repeat prescription for my 87 year old Mum before she runs out of meds. Chased it up on the Friday because it hadn't arrived by the Thursday afternoon. Told they didn't have it.
"We have one on the 5th September"
No this was handed in at the box on 10th.
Miraculously disappeared.
Obviously as her daughter I was getting a bit annoyed to which I was told "do not shout at me otherwise I will put the phone down '!
This infuriated me even more and in expressing my frustration they did hang up.
Customer/patient handling is none existent.
My mother has been with this surgery since the sixties when it was a Proper Surgery!

Surely they have the rudest receptionist in the Greater Manchester, arrogante and full of unnecessary attitude like a Karen. I have never ever experienced anything like that.
There is never the same doctor, and if you ever be lucky to speak with one, all the arrangements (such as bloods test not taken correctly or a physio referral awaiting nearly over a year).
Disappointed on do many levels!!
To know that my taxes goes in this my GP practice make my blood boil.
And I am an nurse!!!!! So I know how to look after my self. But bit I am in in indeed of assistance, this practice is surely not the place you wanna go!

I cannot fault Surrey Lodge, amazing GP practise … always get an appointment when needed, excellent care, Drs that listen and treat you as an individual!! And if you are a women of a certain age then I highly recommend Dr Dunn’s menopause clinic … she is absolutely amazing !!! She trully listened to me and understood! THANK YOU 🤩
