When I need support I feel comfortable in reaching out to any member of staff. They’re all so approachable and nothing is ever to much.
The managing staff not only encourage but want you to progress within your career Aswell by offering apprenticeship programmes.

I have worked for Support at Home for over 6 years now, I can honestly say it’s the best care company in Halton, there is plenty of opportunities to progress within the company as I have.
I started out as a part time support worker, then full time, I then became a senior, I spent some time as a scheduler, My current position is Community Mentor, teaching new support workers how to deliver care the Support at Home way, how to safely deliver Medication and Moving and Handling techniques. I have been given plenty of support and training throughout the 6 years of my employment , I look forward to many more years of working with this amazing company.

Hi my name's Nikki and I've worked at support at home for only 3 months but I have family members who have been working here for many years so I felt like part of the big family before i joined the team. I just wish I had done it many years ago. It might sound corny saying it's not like going to work but it honestly doesn't feel like that. Am with an amazing team who have each taught me and made my job so much easier, I get up and go out looking forward to my day and being with my clients brings me so much joy. The whole team from office to those who go out on the district all pull together to make it work. I chose my days my hours to fit my family life. I've been given the opportunity to better myself with qualifications and future possibilities of going higher up (am jumping at that) I can not wait to start this. So if you are considering changing jobs or like myself have been bringing up a family and needed to get back out there then I would say why not give support at home a try like me and become part of this big family run company. Trust me it's so rewarding xx

You are not only a support group but a rescue team as well! Twice you have stepped in in emergencies when support we had in place has not been available, and your flexibility now we are using you permanently, and in the future will need more care, is a unique aspect of your organisation. I have worked for Support at Home for over 3 years. I have and still to this day thoroughly enjoy working for this company! My colleagues that I work with are an amazing bunch, the office staff are always at the end of the phone for anything. I couldn’t see myself working for a better company. It’s not a job, it’s a family!

I have worked with support at home for 2 and a half years now. (Roughly) They took me on after a 6 month break from working . Until I decided what I wanted to do. From day 1 I was made to feel welcome and part of the family. After about 6/7 months I was encouraged to apply for a senior position which I did and I got . I love this role as I support many amazing support workers and clients.
I am currently on maternity leave and due to come back in September and the team have been so lovely, checking in on me and arranging meetings just to chat. Which has been a lifesaver.

Nicola Beal is the most amazing person you will meet, she goes above and beyond for her staff. Not just Nicola but the whole team. They are the family you don't have that you need. I have always felt like I've been heard and listened to, I'm not the best at keeping my opinions and emotions to myself. I ring and rant and moan and they are amazing.

I have never felt like a number whilst working with support at Home. Which to me is a massive positive 🥰

I can't wait to come back to work with an Amazing bunch of people. Xx

I have worked at Support at Home for around 12 months now and I would recommend them to anybody interested in working in this sector. Since working for them there has been opportunities available to further myself either through working towards qualifications or the ongoing training we receive. There is also opportunities to get promoted to senior support worker/other roles within the company. The scheduling team have been great at working with my availability. I feel supported in my role and know if I have any issues work related or personal HR/management will do what they can to help.
