- [ ] It took me while to choose a therapist to have acupuncture treatment from. I’m glad I chose Lawrence. I was struggling with osteoarthritis pain, miserable discomfort from scar tissue and various other problems. My mood was low. While I filled out the pre appointment medical form I wondered it if would even be worth making the appointment. I’m so glad I did. Lawrence knows his stuff, is professional and kind. He is a serious practitioner of Japanese acupuncture. My pain is reduced, I’m needing less pain killers, I have much more movement in the joints which were ‘fixed’ and I feel so much better and able to deal with my we’ll-being. Shoulder and hip issues were the main reasons I went to Lawrence. He was recommended by a friend, which to be honest I don't take that seriously necessarily!! So glad I went though. Neither Lawrence or I could be described as young men and I really appreciate the experience and body wisdom of a person who has stuck to something for many decades. The shoulder issue is a fresh injury on top of a chronic one and the second treatment really alleviated the recent fairly gnarly discomfort, especially sleeping position. So will be booking a third after writing this. He also doesn't promise the earth, just does his excellent best and sends you off with a 'hope this helps', a realistic message. For anyone wary of needles (and I've had a fair amount of traditional chinese treatment that has hurt a bit!), this is Japanese and finer needles - no pain at all that I experienced. He is generous with his time too! Recommended!!

Prior to my first treatment I was in a really bad place both physically and mentally suffering with a long standing digestive condition that had flared up . After reading Lawrence's reviews I thought it was worth a try. I was so impressed Lawrence took the time to get to the root of the problem working on physical and mental aspects which were affecting me and really impacting negatively on my life. I had such a powerful response even after one treatment I was able to sleep which I hadn't done for months. My digestive issues have settled I have much more energy and feel really positive. I am really grateful to Lawrence. As I have had such a good response I am carrying on with this treatment and recommend anyone experiencing health issues to consider this treatment.

I visited Lawrence whilst having problems with painful periods, severe PMS and hormones clearly all over the place. Lawrence was kind and professional, and his treatments helped incredibly. Within a few months my period pain and PMS had settled down completely, and I felt back to normal again! I no longer have unbearably painful periods and I feel much more relaxed and less anxious. I had previously also visited Lawrence with persistent back pain that no other treatment seemed to shift - except for his acupuncture. I really do think it’s a mixture of medicine and magic! My mother visited Lawrence with a foot problem. She had slipped slightly walking downhill on a hike about 2 weeks previously.

Nothing hurt at the time but the next day her ankle and underneath of her foot were extremely painful and she could hardly walk.

Lawrence did just 2 treatment sessions and sent her home with some tiny needles still in her leg.

It worked wonders and she is now back to her normal sporting activities!
