Generally I have received good service. However, I phoned today (Fri 15 Feb 2019) for an appointment to discuss the result of a scan and was told that the first available appointment was Fri 29 March 2019 - six weeks away! However, the receptionist did suggest that I phone at 8 am and speak to a nurse who should be able to assist me. Wish me luck.

Update 24.02.2019 - I phoned them on Monday morning and spoke with the receptionist who was very polite and helpful. She told me a triage nurse would call me back that morning, which she did. She was also very helpful and made an appointment for me last week which suited my working hours. Once there, the Clinical Practitioner was very pleasant and arranged for a nurse to take blood samples straight away. The results will be available over the phone this coming week. I have no complaints whatsoever about the service I have received at Strelley. I found the staff to be polite, helpful, pleasant and professional.

Don't know why I've even put one star don't deserve that
Don't know if anyone else as had the same problems but if ya put a prescription in they won't even give them your tablet's that you need until they are due so if you run out you'll never get one till the dat. And when ya ring up the receptionist is asking questions as she's the main doctor sick not poorly sick. Sick of them ya don't get any reply from the practice manager don't think they'll care anyways. Unbelievable place don't get me started on getting an appointment I'll be here all day but I think you all know about that subject. Its the dam god receptionist that needs to alter there attitude to people she's dam god sodding cheeky asking questions it's nothing to do with her why I want an appointment or its sod all to do with her what medication I take. On high does of blood thinners and there asking questions

Before steaming in and leaving a bad review, I contacted strelley health and expressed my concerns With some of the customer service that I had received. I am pleased to say that it's it has been 5 stars all the way since then. It is easy to leave a bad review but they must be given challenge To redeem themselves. Thank you for listening. Much better.

Receptionist was rude unfriendly and didn’t give us a chance to speak. Gave us the wrong information about travel vaccines and turned us away . They need to be updated on nhs policies and practices.

This surgery used to be excellent. The GP was always available and extremely caring.
However; the recent change of ownership has been a disaster for what once was a wonderful practice.
It is virtually impossible to get through on the phone. I have also phone 100+ times, before getting through to a receptionist. I have had medication stopped without consultation.
The only saving grace are the wonderful nurses who have continued to do their job with care, empathy and compassion.
It is not possible to see the same GP, as they are currently mostly locus.
I know that there are many other people who are very dissatisfied and disappointed in the recent takeover.
I fear that there could be serious consequences, if this surgery is not looked into by the relevant authorities. This needs to be undertaken sooner, rather than later.

I have been with this surgery for over 20 years. I have found them to always be attentative to my needs. Today I rang to advise my wife had a water infection. The receptionist advised she would get nurse to ring back, less than 1 minute I had a return call. The service is excellent. I find the best way to deal with the 1st line of defence, receptionist, is to keep a civil tongue in your head. There is no point ranting at them, they only doing their job.

I'm only putting 1 star so I can write this review! I've rang 148times to try and get through to a doctor, just to be told to phone back at the end of the week because the woman couldn't find any appointments to fit my needs! I tell her I've rang over 100 times for her to use attitude& say well I'm on my own- I couldn't care less if she was on her own! People wonder why so many people are going to a&e for something stupid over a cold because they haven't got time to sit there ringing the doctors over 100times- it's a joke! I think this review needs to be taken into account because they need more reception staff! I am not happy about this experience I've had. I don't phone the doctors often to be honestly I haven't rang the doctors since last year but this is an on going thing with STRELLY HEALTH CENTRE

Absolutely shocking. New takeover is terrible. When calling takes ages to get thru. When seen my doc doctors don't know me. Asked for two things and they said can only do one. I ended up in hospital over night for this reason. And asked for my blood type and they said they didn't know. I'm sorry but that's shocking
