After being advised by 999 emergency to take my child to Stratford minor injuries department for his head injury. I was informed by the minor injuries receptionist that they are closed. Standing there with my child with blood down his face, shivering with shock, not one person was able to see us. Not even to administer first aid. Not even guide us to the nearest OPEN hospital (a good half hr journey in traffic!!) We then googled where to go.
Horrendous and appalling. Appreciate NHS funding/ cuts/ staff etc. But when you are advised by 999 you head straight there, expecting help quickly. Haven't lived in Stratford that long and first time we've ever needed emergency attention. Luckily seen at Warwick quickly and my child is now OK.

Attended the Minor Injuries Unit at Stratford upon Avon hospital with broken wrist. A small, well-run dept. Although it was very busy, staff communicated well both within the team and with the waiting patients - they were both friendly and efficient. A real gem and everything you would hope the nhs to be!

No way a big (and growing exponentially) area like Stratford Upon Avon (approx 136,000) should have no 24 hour A & E rather than minor injuries between 9 & 5 just three days a week. This is less hours than Evesham (approx 37,000) which is open 9am-9pm 7 days a week with an X-ray department open 9-5 Mon - Friday. Can you Adam & Eve it? Where is the rhyme and reason?

I attended for an appointment today at Trinity Court Surgery. I was 20 min late because of traffic in Stratford upon Avon. The appointment was rightly cancelled. Kam at the reception and the Amazing GP manage to reschedule me. Grateful for the service.

Please note Minor Injuries is CLOSED on Mondays. In addition the volunteer on the door doesn't know this and the department is a long walk from the front door. In addition there are no visible wheelchairs. So go to Warwick.. and expect an hours wait to be able to park!

Had an mri scan on 21st December 2024 phoned my consultants secretary at warwick hosp to say I haven't heard anything about a follow up appointment with my consultant and was told he is still waiting for mri results to come back as there is a backlog at the radiology I think this is disgraceful leaving patients in pain because results are being held up

Can’t fault my experience yesterday. Had to go to minor injury to be assessed due to a fall. Xray set up straight away. Assisted over by one of the ladies who was very nice and chatty. Xray department fairly quick and straight forward and then back to minor injury for diagnosis and treatment along with a follow up from a clinic. Superb service and I thank you!
