I feel so grateful to be registered with Stow Health - the reception team are always helpful and friendly (definitely can’t be said for all GP receptionists at other surgeries in my experience), the GPs and nurses always respond as quickly as they can and take your concerns seriously. When I was pregnant the midwifery team were phenomenal. I can’t thank the professionals I encounter there enough for their service, time, effort and expertise. Such a relief to feel my family’s healthcare is in safe hands.

Sent me in loops trying to request my medication, they turned off my ability to reorder on the NHS app. Had to do an ask my GP and said I’ve run out days ago. They said I need to book a blood test to get my meds, which I was never even told about so I did. still couldn’t get meds, they said I need to confirm my weight, height, blood pressure etc all nothing to do with my meds at all, bare in mind I said I have no medication. They then said they’ll issue it this time but next time order on the nhs app!! YOURE the one who blocked me from using the APP! Ridiculous!!! What’s the IQ requirement to work in a GP now? It’s truly concerning.

Very very impressed with quickness of return call. Got appointment very quickly. Staff are very friendly and understanding. Pharmacy very quick and helpful. 100% no complaints

The receptionists are lovely - especially Becky but the test of the place is a shambles. If youre healthy you’ll be fine but if you have complex needs dont bother! From doctors who don't bother reading your notes to district nurses who wont visit unless you’re practically dead - I've had terrible experiences.

I went here with the intention of getting a PTSD diagnosed. However, all the GP did was block access to services.
Even after I contacted them and spoke to them about this - I still got no help.
Even when I filed a most serious complaint of Abuse regarding the lack of help they chose to do nothing about it.
I could not be more disgusted at what passes for service here 🙁

Always helpful on the telephone and true testament for the values of our NHS stands for. The staff are brilliant face to face too and the Doctors are quick to see all patients upon request.

Since moving to Stowmarket and experiencing two other GP surgeries in other areas I wanted to feedback that Stow Health are an amazing surgery. The staff are all kind, compassionate and the processes just work. They’re proactive in asking about things and I continue to be really impressed every time I have contact. An example of the NHS working very well. Thanks Stow Health 🙂

I've been registered with this practice since 2015 and have been fortunate not to need their expertise, except for very routine treatments.
That is until recently, when I have had to contact them several times with worrying but relatively trivial medical problems.
Without exception the care I received was prompt, skilled, friendly and professional.
In particular the use they make of telephone and email contact to streamline their service works amazingly well. 4 times in the last year I have been seen the same day and sometimes within a few minutes of talking to a doctor! Something I think people with other practices would find hard to believe.
Having a decent primary care practice nearby is something we used to take for granted but if you believe the media is now less usual.
I think the people of Stowmarket should consider themselves fortunate to have Stowe Health as their local GP practice.
