Receptionist my wife spoke to today was so incredibly rude and arrogant and it isn't the first time. I don't think it's worth contacting the manager as nothing seems to change. Unfortunately we can't change surgery as we have been told we are not allowed. If anyone knows how to change surgeries please let me know. I am currently looking into who I can complain to as there must be an organisation that deals with surgeries that patients are not happy with. If anyone knows who that would be please let me know. I will do an Internet search to see if I can find out.

I was very poorly last week and saw a student dr he didn't have a clue what was wrong and kept running to door saying I'm unsure if I should get dr I'm not sure what to do..... then the diagnosis came in to play. One minute I had virus,then it was flu and then chest infection then back to virus and then when the dr came in finally they checked my blood pressure 5 times and pulse 3 times and even felt my pulse with fingers whilst watching the time on her phone.....to then be told by the way my numbers are and the symptoms I was experiencing was of a chest infection and I was borderline sepsis as the infection was attacking my body. I had a phone call appointment today to be told I could have had any virus and then Covid was mentioned I explained I have had Covid and how this illness doesn't feel like Covid. Dr Cox said most people don't test and how I couldn't be sure if I had or have Covid I tested and it was negative 2 tests taken both negative, I was told that if I was worried I should go to drs. After 3 hours after my appointment with Dr Cox I rang the surgery and asked for an appointment and they booked me in to see dr Taylor, they said I would probably have up to two hour wait. I said I'm not gonna be able to sit that long as I am feeling the same I did Thursday they said when you come up we can put in a separate room or get you put to the top of the list! They also informed me if I wasn't happy with my appointment with dr cox, I can ask to speak to a manager when I turn up (That was also denied and I was told to put it in writing!)I Turned up and was denied a room or be put up the list and then told to wait with loads of people coughing and sneezing and having all sorts of symptoms, I got to go in to have dr Taylor patronise me. He said there's no such thing as borderline sepsis and how the dr who I saw Thursday didn't bother to write it down, when I said then why are your colleagues telling me I have borderline sepsis due to an infection I can't fight on my own. Also why haven't they written it down ? he then checked the computer and said oh yes she did write it down(I received no apology) he then couldn't tell me what is wrong with me and then couldn't tell me how long I'm gonna be like it for, or if I'm contagious. He told me that the amount of times I had my blood pressure checked was too much on Thursday and not really needed. The odd thing was it was like he didn't believe me! I said I have a pain in my head and it's a stabbing pain he replied, "oh dear it's going from side to side oh dear you have been soooo poorly haven't you" Well Mrs Elkins there's nothing we can give or help with you, he even said my body is able to fight infections, even though every infection I get I need steroids and antibiotics. I have been told that I have a poor immune system and can't fight infections at all without intervention! He didn't believe that. I said check my files and you see the stack of paperwork I have because I can't fight infections, he said I can fight things and how I gotta go home as I now have flu! I feel that the treatment I get from the surgery is ridiculous, and useless. I said I'd rather go to 111 for help from now on as I am terrified that if I am unwell and the Drs muck me about with a diagnosis, I may not get the treatment I need. I am still clueless with my symptoms and what is actually wrong with me, I run out of my tablets tomorrow God help me if I go back down poorly, as some of your doctors are not able to give a straight diagnosis.

Stockwood Medical Practice is superb. The receptionists are friendly, helpful, professional and empathetic. The nurses and Doctors are approachable and very knowledgeable and I am very thankful to be one of their patients. The practice I came from was the exact opposite and it's a refreshing change to speak to people who genuinely care.

Good Drs surgery, but please sort out the online booking system with Patient Access. It's 2024 and not everyone wants to make a phone call. I really want to be able to book an appointment online.

The receptionist lady named Julie today I spoke to on the phone this morning to book a appointment was so professioonal, honestly make me feel a bit better still waiting for mny GP to rang me back , my GP is the best GP in the all UK doctor Oliver. I always feel better after I been to the surgery my second home.

We’ve moved to Stockwood Medical Centre around 5/6 years ago having previously been with the Armada practice. Stockwood has always been so friendly, helpful and accessible. The receptionists are lovely and do their utmost to help you and we have always managed to get a quick appointment and treatment. Really can’t fault them, we definitely made the right move when we changed drs surgery.

Honestly one of the best practices I have used to date. Really attentive, extremely helpful and never seem to let the stresses from the NHS to overflow into the patient care
