I have very recently had a minor op at the surgery. It was a first class, painless treatment at the very capable hands of Dr Trevithick who also noticed a suspect mole which I had not. I was referred to dermatology that day and seen within 2 days. Excellent.

Treated absolutely appallingly when they didn't receive my repeat prescription request last month. Told me I had to phone 111 to get an emergency one to tide me over. Turns out they hadn't even received it. After spending an hour and 10 mins trying to get through to sort it. I was told that I had to email in and mark it as urgent, and that they had been having problems receiving repeat requests. I need to take this medication every day, yet nobody wanted to help, and it wasn't on their urgent medication list. I went in person and the receptionist was so rude. I will never step foot in this surgery again. The stress it caused me was awful. This is just one of many awful experiences I have had dealing with this practice.

Great doctors and nurses let down by a truly awful appointment and prescription request system. For appts you cant get through on the phone for hours and the econsult sysyem is always turned off. You dont have the option to book anything in that isnt urgent at all and only can at 8am if you are off and able to log in then. You have to econsult for everything and that just hardly ever works. For people who work and cant be on it at 8am there is just no way of getting an appt. Its terrible. . With prescriptions- When we use the app they lose the request and say we should have emailed. When we email they say you should have used the app!!! How hard is it to have both the app and the emails set to trigger a reply so we know if they have worked or not The nurses and doctors are great. It would just be nice to be able to see them!

Shocking service. Will do everything possible to prevent you from getting what you need. Receptionist claim they can't speak to doctors, losing prescriptions and refusing to provide a treatment specifically requested by a surgeon for follow up care. I have never had the misfortune to receive such appalling service anywhere in any walk of life. You will end more unwell through stress when dealing with this practice. We are moving to one further away.

Filled in an e consultation at 12 range me at 12:30 and gave me an appointment at 14:45 ?waiting time was 1 minutes Carolyn welcomed me to the examination room asked me few questions and did quick examination very professional and straight to the point. Very helpful. Thanks

On Tuesday 30th July I called in the surgery and completed an econsult form after experiencing three attacks of severe abdominal pain.

Within an hour I received a phone call advising a 4.20pm appointment with Dr Smith who performed a thorough examination.

At 9.00pm the following day July 31st I gave a blood sample. Just after 6.00pm the same day Dr Smith called me to convey my results. A referral for an ultrasound was arranged.

On 13th August I attended Runcorn Health Hub for my ultrasound examination. On 14th August I was contacted with the results.

Many thanks to the front desk and medical team for such efficient professional service, and the pharmacy too for prompt production of prescriptions.

this practice treats it’s patients with so much disdain it’s unbelievable making the whole process as difficult as possible the recorded messages just telling us how busy, under staffed technical issue problems and sickness they are experiencing. SHMC Welcome to the real world we are all the same this is not exclusive to you you are being paid to provide a service

Going to change surgeries.
I've been with them for over 30 years and in the last 5 they've really gone down hill...
