This has been my local med centre for the last 30 years, and its on a slippery slope.
Trying to get a PSA check has been full of barriers, been in 3 times this week and each time time its a different story and zero progress. I just want them to start the paperwork so i can get the checks done with SATH. How difficult can it be?

They are now making you have an appointment with your appointed doctor so you may not get an appointment for upto 3 weeks.
Apparently they were audited and too many ppl aren't seeing their own doctors. To be honest I'd be fine seeing any GP!
The way around it for me was to call 111, explain my issue and got an appointment the same day

Not opened on time this morning. Only 1 member of staff and no key. No idea if people were on holiday or supposed to be at work. As no one else had appeared we left. Pain prescription needed urgently.

Have had more use out of a teapot made of chocolate! Have done nothing but mess me about for the last 10 years, and enough is enough! If you are desperate enough to need a new GP, stay clear from this lot!

This GP is great! The receptionists, doctors, nurses and pharmacists are always so nice and helpful! Getting an appointment is easy. You get prescriptions quite quickly (only a few days in my experience). This GP is certainly an improvement compared to the one we went to where we used to live. Im glad that i registered with this GP 🙂
Update April 2025: Went there today to get my foot checked for an infection and the doctor + nurses were so nice! I was checked properly, listened to what i had to say and even prescribed me antibiotics for the problem. The receptionist also did a great job with finding me the closest possible appointment. Medication is always received very quickly here too. I feel very welcome at this GP practice!

Won’t let me give 0stars

17 times I’ve called to be ignored regarding a appointment I didn’t want and now I can’t get ahold of reception I was forced to make a appointment (that I didn’t want ) it’s ok though I’m not attending the stupid thing

Have had a really bad cough for weeks causing me to be sick often, thought it was small at first so didn’t call up anyone but it’s really bad now, I call up the doctors and to begin with the lady on the phone was extremely rude and condescending, I simply wanted to book an appointment for in a few days time bare in mind I was waiting on the call between 20 minutes and half an hour, to get told that it’s only call appointments for the day which is false as I’ve done that in the past before. Shocking service
