I find it difficult to understand the poor reviews for this service, except to say that we all have different needs and opinions. My own experience would be a 10 if I could give 10. I had no problems being referred via my GP surgery and once the 'ball was rolling' everything happened so quickly. My talk therapist was Marc and I will never be able to thank him enough for his guidance, his ability to listen without judgment, but also his ability to give me the necessary 'thought process' to overcome depression caused by anxiety. This was a big ask, especially as I have been on this planet for 70 years so my issues were well ingrained. I am now able to 'think' differently which has basically led me to overcoming the anxiety that had caused my depression. I know that it's a long road relearning our thought processes and 'wiring' but I am confidently on the right path. Thank you Marc and all at Steps for giving me my life back, however long that may be, but I will treasure each moment, especially as I have received a following referral (fingers crossed & depending on the charity group) for the love of my life, horses. If the referral does not work out I know that will not be Steps 'fault' but the system set up by the horse charity. Either way I still feel empowered to aim for my dream. Thank you with all my heart Marc. Stay well, and keep laughing at life too. Jan.

I'm so grateful to Steps to Wellbeing for all the help, support and guidance. Had quite a rough time recently, but all the support was there and gradually I'm seeing the light again. I would recommend those that are struggling, reach out and its not shameful to admit your struggling. Steps to Wellbeing are very caring, honest and supportive. Nobody judges, but are great listeners and will find a solution. I found new ways to deal with what I'm going through. Feeling so much better from talking and they will work with you.

Do not I mean do not use this service. It’s awful. They really don’t care. I turned to these for help. Only to be arrested and locked up
For 28days. They is no compassion with this service. They have no time for you. They lie. I have all the proof to back up my review.
They are better services out there. Call it a wellbeing service more like destroy you life service.
If you value you life avoid this place like the plague.

Couldn't care less about your "wellbeing". As long as they tick their boxes, that's all that matters.

Appalling lack of contact. Completely ignored my email following a promise of a call back. Still to this day, 5.5 months after my first contact with them waiting to hear about counselling...
Highly unprofessional.

They strike me as being ill-trained and amateurish. Not helpful at all.
