I am utterly shocked at the lack of empathy and professionalism that I endured on a recent phone call to this care home. When simply calling the home to gauge an idea of their costs, the man on reception proceeded to ask bluntly, "why?". I said, "sorry?!" thinking I had heard him by mistake... but no, he proceeded to say "why?" again. I proclaimed that I am doing initial research into care homes for a family and it would be useful to understand their prices and availability. This man ensured me that the home is currently full (no availability), but he said "although two people are ACTIVELY DYING, so I would expect a couple of rooms to become available shortly." I'm sorry... and this person works in a nursing home? Where is the empathy in those words? There's a way to phrase something so sensitive and THAT is categorically NOT how you phrase it. Immediate red flags early on in the customer journey and I will not be completing my enquiry with this home.

The overall perception of nursing homes is often quite negative.
This nursing home overrides all of those perceptions by giving superb care with attention to detail that makes a massive difference.
I can't praise the management and staff enough for the dedication and care that they give.
I have little experience of other care homes but I know the care that they provided for my terminally I'll mother was superb and also the support and reassurance that was given to me too.

A truly wonderful home staffed with people I will never forget and owe so much to.
