This is a very good medical practice with high quality staff and very good doctors! But they are very busy! I have given up phoning for an appointment and now always go to the surgery at 7.45am for when they open at 8am and have always been given an appointment, albeit not always with a GP. They obviously have a huge number of patients, but I have always received good care! There is a much longer wait for blood tests these days, and I understand that the walk in service at County Hospital is no longer available. I also find the receptionists very helpful, both on the phone and in person. Given the times in which we are living, and the number of patients they must be dealing with,
they really all do their best to help patients. This is a good surgery with an on site pharmacy!

Shame when you have to complain to the manager to get an appt. The docs are good. Not enough time for every patient and some, not all of the reception staff on a Monday Tuesday are the rudest I’ve met. I was told how the appts work call daily. When I said not sure if you’ve tried. Her comment was it worked today you’d hear! Erm no I complained and was given an appt so we don’t need your sarcasm thank you. And I’d just been told to rebook by the GP after a cancer scare.. don’t worry reception it’s not your health care I’m worried about. Still dint have an appt.. I gave up

Absolutely useless. I need ones per two- tree years, but they always are struggled with the appointments. If I am an owner of the practice I will just close it. Ask you to call them at 8 o'clock next morning but from 7,55 the line is busy, I.e. just to show you they are doing something...What us a point to loose another 15 minutes?

Wouldn’t even bother registering for this place because their phone lines are always busy even just before opening. 5 years over due a smear because you simply can not get any appointments! JOKE!!!!

Practice occasionally has teething problems, but generally is perfectly run, from reception, through to Nurses and Doctors. They refer to all the right services and help where they can, with invaluable advice....

I changed to this surgery last year after a terrible experience with my old surgery. Since coming here, I have always managed to get an appointment and actually feel listened to by the doctors. In my experience all the staff are friendly and helpful.

Terrible surgery! It is extremely difficult to get an appointment these days. It used to be a really good surgery but over the past few months I can't get an appointment with a doctor and now even a nurse! They seem to be under staffed. I was told to call 111 to get an appointment with a nurse after waiting 50 minutes on the phone. It's ridiculous!

Update: I was told to go in at 8 in the morning and I did. There was a massive queue but it was better than being on the phone, although it made no difference. First of all the receptionist was extremely rude and ruined my morning, then she told me I couldn't see a nurse because there's none available. Mind you, I was waiting at the door at 8! Where did the appointments go?!? Are there actually any doctors and nurses working?!? She had an attitude about me wanting an appointment. Only when I complained about the day before did she try and fit me in the next day. I'm very annoyed, if I didn't need to see someone ASAP I would have been in the process of changing surgeries by now.

Best GP practice I've ever had. I know some people have reported issues and they aren't immune to the problems afflicting all surgeries: too much demand for too few appointments. But I was able to get an appointment at short notice today, and across several appointments I've always found the staff there very helpful and compassionate. Having the pharmacy on site is very convenient too.
