Only been waiting around 9 weeks for an urgent prescription for my gestational diabetes testing strips. Think I’ll go hypo and die before they actually sort it out. Called up last Thursday and a lady said she would send it to my pharmacy. Still not at the pharmacy. Worst thing is I came in to collected it weeks ago and they only gave me one of two parts of the prescription because some stupid doctor decided to hold on to it. Awful with no lack of urgency. I’ve had to borrow a testing kit from someone who has T1 diabetes.

Spoke with Lynn Rees about my mental health, she then spoke to a doctor who said I had to have a blood test. I had this test and received the results on my phone and that doctor had checked them .when I phoned to book an appointment I was told by a unhelpful receptionist it would be 2 weeks before the first phone appointment was available as the surgery was at capacity, what a load of garbage that comment is as I went to collect my blood tickets surgery was empty completely previous visit week before again empty. This surgery is still working in covid conditions with very poor and slow help given

when calling for service staff fail to understand the current stage of your condition and offer doctors appointments 4 weeks into the future for test results of a condition you've already been treated or tested for over the past four weeks. Why don't they have a simple STAGE code to help respond appropriately ?.

Doctors are nice but some receptionist staff are rude. They take ages to answer phone, its quicker to walk there (40mins) and talk to a receptionist than to wait for them to pick up. The chairs are also all looking at the receptionist desk and you can hear everything so no privacy at all. They used to have comfortable chairs at the side of the rooms that was much better.

This place used to have many 1 star reviews but they have gone missing :/

Mandy on the reception went above and way beyond today. I tried to book an appointment a few days ago to see the mental health specialist but there was non. However I get a random call today off Mandy who advised me on new appointments that have came through today. Exceptional service and I will be taking this further because people like Mandy need the recognition for the job they do

How is it you can be 4 minutes late for an appointment due to the road works and queue in the GP’s reception area and then be told you can no longer see the doctor, when on previous appointments you can wait 45 minutes to be seen but that’s ok? This was for an urgent appointment. Shocking. It’s getting worse, time to switch.

Pretty much the same as the review left on the Halesowen Medical Practice Google My Business profile. Which begs the question, why not merge them? Anyways... I've been with this practice for around 10 years. I've seen a number of the doctors and other health care professionals, and each one has provided outstanding service. I can't recall ever having a bad experience. I'm usually able to get appointments to fit around work, and there isn't normally a huge difference between the scheduled and the actual time of appointments. Building is clean and well maintained. Parking can be a bit hit and miss at times. Big fan of Patient Access (I know this isn't specific to this practice) for prescriptions. Feels a bit weird recommending a medical practice, but what the hell, give them a go, you could do worse.

Online platform has worked very well for booking/sharing information, it was quick and efficient. The Reception staff were very polite, caring and compassionate, they got back to me promptly. Our GP is lovely and she is very helpful and always willing to help, she seems like she goes above and beyond. I think the team at the surgery are doing a great job and want to say thank you :)!!! Please keep it up 🙂
