Such a good atmosphere. I normally can't stand doctor's surgeries but you walk in and feel welcome and everything is so nicely organized with a beautiful spacious room that's comfortable to sit in while you wait. Doctors are usually always on time and in the meantime you can get your blood pressure BMI and weight etc measured and printed out free of charge.

I rarely visit a doctor, but when I did today after 4 years, the experience was profoundly disappointing. After finally securing an appointment a stroke of luck in itself I was met with indifference right from reception and forced to wait 20 minutes past my scheduled time. When I eventually saw the doctor, the consultation was impersonal and rushed. He maintained a physical distance behind his mask without offering any clear explanation of his process.

Despite suffering from severe headaches, gum irritation, and not having eaten for four days, my concerns were met with vague, non-committal responses. I was left with only basic panadol and water, without any clear direction or assurance about whether my condition might be viral, flu-related, or something else entirely.

Patients deserve transparent, respectful communication and comprehensive care especially when they’re in distress. What’s even more infuriating is that this experience proves the healthcare industry doesn’t deserve any hospitality discount. Even when dedicated hospitality workers visit, they are treated with rudeness and indifference. I hope this feedback prompts much-needed improvements in both patient interaction and overall service quality.

Though the NHS as a whole may be struggling due to weighty geopolitical shenanigans, the free-at-point-of-delivery service remains excellent, and the crew of skilled and dedicated professionals cannot be faulted.
