Never one to complain and it’s no shock this place has so many bad reviews but I’ve had awful encounters here to the point I can’t fathom why it’s so poorly run still. Clearly no duty of care and completely derived of compassion and empathy as I was absolutely belittled and berated in front of lots of customers making me feel absolutely awful and upset as it was very embarrassing being spoken down to like that and it was completely unwarranted behaviour as it was genuinely due to no fault of mine. I’ve always been patient with this place but noticed they speak to customers terribly and shift blame onto them all the time. Even with long wait times you get either stuck with the wrong dose or told it’s not in stock. It’s a shame as the new staff seem nice but I’m appalled how rude the chemist was to me clearly taking stress out onto me which is highly unfair and undeserved as I’ve always been nice. I hope no one else experiences this again as I left there in tears.

Would give a zero score if available. They never answer the phone, permanently disorganised and the lead pharmacist is rude and completely lacking in customer service skills, medication delivered at home is always incorrect. When you do eventually speak to someone on the phone they put you on hold for upto 30 mins, blatantly lie and when questioned and called out on their lies, hang up the phone. Will be submitting a complaint to the Public Health Ombudsman, it's a handy pharmacy that clearly needs to ownership/ management. The receptionist at the adjacent surgery even advised changing chemists.

Went in to purchase some sterimar which is a pretty standard OTC purchase at any pharmacy. Not only do their shelves look like a bomb went off, but they’re empty. Never seen a pharmacy so poorly stocked and all staff ignore you for ten minutes until you decide to walk out. 2 seconds down the road, Gatley pharmacy is much better.

The lady who runs this pharmacy is so rude , she has zero people skills and doesn’t know how to speak to people. It’s no wonder all the staff who work in there are so miserable . Horrible pharmacy, who make a lot of mistakes . Avoid

This is around the 10th time i have collected a prescription from this chemist, every time i go i am stood in a huge queue, drug addicts get seen to first for their meth shots which in my opinion should be the least priority!! The staff constantly talking between themselves and only rush once an addict walks in, then proceed to sit and chat with them all while there is a queue of 10+ people waiting for prescriptions etc for real life illnesses. Basically if you're not addicted to meth then you will be treated like dirt, if you are then you will be treated like royalty.

Pharmacy next to GP very handy.They are extremely busy but this is not They fault .Closed over weekends but we managed to made arrangements about my collections suitable for my schedules.. needed my consultation redirected from GP to them and received within 4 hours as promised..
I can't complain.

In 6 months this pharmacy has messed my meds up 5 months in a row. They lie directly to your face and have even accused me of picking up prescriptions when in fact they were on the shelf..left me without my anti psychotic medication on several occasions. The staff are rude and unhelpful. They will mess your whole monthly script up then make out its thr doctors fault when the script was issued by the doctor the days before..I understand this job can be challenging for the staff but they take it out on the customers. The shop opens at 9am but the pharmacist is ALWAY at least 20 minutes late so ppl are having to stand round. And when u ask the staff anything they just shrug...the attitude of them staff is like walking into a room full off moody teenagers.. no accountability and never an apology. My mental health was so affected by this pharmacy. Also infection control is terrible most staff don't wear uniforms and just come in in whatever they want jeans and flip flops..

Like nearly all pharmacies Springfield pharmacy is working under very difficult circumstances but they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable when advice or help is needed and I can speak from personal experience when they went above the normal duty of care to help me with some medication issues which they very quickly sorted for me when it wasn't necessarily their problem to rectify however they did so with no fuss and at some considerable inconvenience to themselves. This is the same as elsewhere in health and medicine that it would be wise to be as pleasant and as patient as you can be when dealing with obviously under pressure staff with massive work loads the polite and and patient approach will in my experience more often than not reap rewards and Springfield Pharmacy is no different from this with its youthfull and professional staff will appreciate.
