Love this surgery. Never had any issues, although sometimes getting an appointment can be challenging but that is the same with most doctors as you will need to be quick on the phone.Staff really do seem to care and try to help you. I definitely recommend to anyone looking to switch GP’s

I would recommend this GP surgery to family and friends and have been with this GP for 25 years. The NHS, in particular GP services are often heavily scrutinised especially for waiting times and lack of appointments. Recently, I have been given appointments within an appropriate time frame based on my clinical need. I’ve also been offered appointments at Heaton medical Centre to try and accommodate me and I think it’s great that the surgery are utilising other services to provide appointments for patients.

Took a week for doctor to review an x-ray. Had to ring each day to be told he had not looked at it and the doctor was busy with surgery calls. Asked if it could be passed to another doctor but they were not able to do this.
Then having to wait for another week and a half to get booked in to see someone.

Appalling level of service. I have been trying to access my GP for nearly a month for follow up on blood and urine tests which were looking for any cancer type. Will not even book triage calls in less than 3 weeks.
Terrible practice and levels of service
I would also recommend a complete clear out of receptionist staff and replace with people more empathetic to patients. Please note comments about receptionionist staff are a common thread in a number of other reviews.
To put this into perspective.
I have never made any criticism of health service in my life.

I have been at this doctors for 39 years and I think they are great. Yes, sometimes the receptionists can be a bit abrupt, however this does not apply to them all.
I have always been able to get an appointment when I have needed it. The doctors used to display how many appointments had been missed each month by people not attending and not cancelling. One month it was over 100 which was disgusting. It is this type of behaviour that take appointments from others who may need them. The doctors do not know when someone won't attend until on the day when it is too late.
I think the doctors are fantastic. Dr Tran helped to looked after my terminally I'll mum. He treated her with respect, compassion and thoughtfulness at all times.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I can see Kisten has had some negative feedback above, however I feel she is one of the nicest receptionists I have ever met. She is always cheerful and willing to help.
I would recommend this surgery without hesitation.

My baby has Down syndrome so I feel like I’m constantly on the phone to them for an appointment. Every time I ring I always get an appointment for the same day and get seen if needs be. Any doctor we get they have always been amazing with my son!
I also had an appointment recently and I had Dr. Jafari. He was very thorough and did all tests necessary putting my mind at ease.
By far one of the best surgeries in Bolton.

Easy to do self check-in. Very helpful receptionists on Friday, a breath of fresh air. They did everything they could to help me with another request. I went to see the physio, and the appt was on time. No complaints.

My family have been registered with this surgery for almost five years, the service provided has been very good. Whether in person or a phone consultation, the GPs have listened to our concerns and have acted appropriately. I am especially thankful to Dr Jafari.
