Extremely poor service after waiting for 1 hour I had a call back arranged only for the person to call back and disconnect whilst I was saying hello multiple times my phone is completely fine the line was crackly on thier end , second time called again and arranged a call back with the same individual calling me I explained the situation earlier and said as a courtesy you should have called back if I remained on the line and said hello only to be asked in a very awful manner how can I help and ignoring everything I said. A SURGERY MUST HAVE COMPASSIONATE staff AND STAFF WHO HAVE EMPATHY get better with your hiring process, improve your training and services, patients deserve better! For reference this was between 13:00 -16:00 on 14/11 I Do not want to name and shame

Spring Hall Practice has been my GP practice for more than 20 years, but today I have finally decided to move elsewhere. I requested an urgent appointment for a new health issue having being told to do so by a pharmacist. My Patches request was closed as no appointments were available. I requested a call from the practice and was told they had no appointments today or at any point in the forseeable future (!) I asked to speak to the practice manager as I did not believe the receptionist - not in of course. I asked what the receptionist suggested as my issue was not serious enough to justify A&E. She was put out at my request and kept saying they are not an emergency service and went on to tell me all they things they couldn't do and nothing that they could. It appears they don't offer any form of service. If you are a potential new patient do not consider Spring Hall Practice. Your time will be wasted, they will not help you. It is GPs like this which are dragging the NHS down, and damage the reputation of the organisation and its hardworking staff elsewhere.

I need a review for my medication. I pressed 8 for a call back and after well over a hour I received one... Except, I was cut off and never got a callback. Now, I have been on hold for 1hr 40 mins. It is disgusting. I won't press for a call back as I was disconnected last time.
This Practice used to be good. Now, since the mergers with others it is definitely not patient friendly. Why does it take so long to get through Years ago....fewer doctors...better service. I am frustrated and annoyed. Not conducive to good health.

Extremely poor service, making an appointment over the phone takes an hour to get through to them only to be told to use the online app, took 5 days to get an appointment to renew a sick note. Saw a “doctor “ who couldn’t get me a sick note without asking a real doctor to sanction it.
I had a phone appointment with a physio, who didn’t call or cancel. Just left me waiting by the phone for nothing. A total waste of my time. I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere for a doctor.

I know this is a national issue but it still has to be said this system of waking up at 0800 and only, very VERY sparingly being allocated an appointment on the same day is ridiculous!! It's an affront to the principle of public healthcare and just makes no sense!! How does any working person ever get an appointment?! Especially since it's a lottery that you'll even get an appointment!!

I'm not at death's door, not that that seems to make a difference mind, but I'm still debilitated. And need a GP's admission to the orthopaedic outpatient in the hospital.

This service is disgusting......

I had a 10 am appointment today—two hours later, still no call. Tried phoning (big mistake), and after 20+ minutes in the mystery queue with no clue how long I'd be waiting, I gave up. Apparently, ringing individual practices is a thing of the past, replaced by one big black hole of silence.

Patchs? No option to ask why my call never came. So, I thought I'd try email—only to be met with the classic "This email is NOT MONITORED DAILY. Urgent? Call us." Spoiler alert: I did. No answer.

Who doesn't check emails daily? I understand the staff works hard (as do most people), but if any other business ran like this, they'd be out of business.

Seriously, who’s responsible for this chaos?

Awful, I’ve recently joined the surgery and they refuse to add my repeat prescriptions onto the app despite the request coming from my old surgery. I called, waiting on hold for hours and finally had a conversation with them about this. Nothing changed. I’ve since messaged and again and been ignored. Messing around with peoples medication is very dangerous.

I rang the surgery on the 4th September asking for my husbands medication that had run out on the 29th August. (The original prescription was done by the hospital pharmacy because even after asking the doctors to start him on it they hadn't). I was told it would be marked as urgent. What a joke!! He still had not received it by the 9th September, I rang again and lo and behold I was told it would be marked as urgent again and guess what? Still not received it so I'm now on the phone again on the 12th of September. So now he's been 14 days without this medication. If this was a life-threatening illness that needed this medication the patient would probably be a goner before the "urgent" would be completed.
If I could give it zero I would.

Update:
Today the 12th September after ringing the doctors, the receptionist tried telling me the hospitals should have sent a up to date letter. I chased this up and was told by the consultants secretary a letter had been emailed on the 22nd August for the GP to continue with the medicine. Also the doctors receptionist said this was out of her remit as she wasn't that clued up so would have a clinician ring my husband this morning. Still waiting.
Not the first time the doctors surgery has either ignored letters from the hospital or fibbed about them.
Further update:
All sorted by a lovely clinician who said the letter was in front of her. Apologised for the 14 day delay. She gets 5 stars but still unhappy with the delay.
