Shane Miller - I contacted Sports Physio UK as I was experiencing pain in my left shoulder which was restricting my ability to exercise. I have now had several physio sessions with Shane and the difference in my shoulder is marked - much less painful and well on the way to recovery!

From the outset, Shane has been a fantastic support and his considerable knowledge throughout a thorough assessment allowed him to diagnose my issue as weaknesses in my rotator cuff muscles. At this point, he created a set of varied and progressively more challenging exercises for me to follow which have allowed me to build strength and stability at a comfortable pace over the recent weeks (a range of exercises were discussed with me so I could have input in choosing the programme I felt best suited my exercise preferences and the time I had to exercise each week. New exercises are added each week, replacing others which are no longer needed). This guidance has been supported by sports massage which has helped to relieve tightness and discomfort in the shoulder.

This is the first time I have needed to access physiotherapy (fortunately) but what has stuck me most about working with Shane is how beneficial it has been in not only rehabilitating my shoulder but also in helping progress my overall fitness. Having access to Shane's expertise has allowed me to ask questions about various exercise, running techniques, etc and receiving the reassurance that certain techniques are safe and suitable for me has meant I can push on with various fitness goals alongside rehabilitating my shoulder. Overall, I have felt like I've accessed a Physiotherapist and a Personal Trainer and I can't recommend Shane highly enough!!

Have had a course of treatment in the Rawtenstall facility after disk decompression surgery. I would recommend Shane who is very attentive, listens carefully to the issues, and patiently explains thoroughly the treatment required.

Rick is incredibly knowledgable & professional. I have been experiencing problems with my pelvis & lower back region, my body was out of line & then compensating & almost twisting elsewhere.
After visiting Rick, I can honestly say I’ve felt the difference in a big way! I’m the straightest I have been for years.
As a horse rider & trainer it is imperative that the rider is straight & in balance with the horse, for me I feel I am making a big difference to my horses, although I’ve been aware of the problem I’ve not been able to solve it, until now! Thank you Rick!

Went to see Tom on a Saturday morning for assistance with a bad calf muscle and a trapped nerve in my shoulder.

Tom was very thorough in his approach to identifying what was wrong and also what the options were.

He then proceeded to fix me with some massage which helped massively. He then gave me stretch and training advice to further my recovery.

He was very professional and the facilities were great. I’d thoroughly recommend Tom personally and also the Sports Physio UK Group.

Suffered for over 2 Weeks with unbearable pain due to Sciatica in right leg. Booked an appointment with Sports Physio which was recommend by a friend who had use them previously for the same complaint.
After one session of deep massage and followed the exercises that where given the pain was gone after 4 days. Worth every penny of the £40 fee. Chris was very Professional and down to earth. I will certainly use them again if I have any pain in the future.

Fantastic service - would highly recommend. Chris at the Bury clinic is an asset to the company - was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. My muscles get quite tight from exercise and back problems so I saw Chris for a sports massage. Best one I've had in a while. Pressure and technique were spot on. Has a natural touch for it. Highly recommended.
