My experience has been universally good. I've used Urology outpatents and as an inpatient for surgery, Cardiology as an outpatient and Physiotherapy as an outpatient. All have been excellent and I have felt in caring and expert hands and the ward care was really good. Receptions teams are very friendly and the teams managing Imaging, Phlebotomy, BO monitoring, Admissions and everyone else have been wonderful.

My appointment changed via email saying I was seeing a different consultant which caused concerns. On the day of the appointment the consultant took me back to reception and they re scheduled my appointment immediately to see the surgeon who completed my surgery. Whilst this was resolved effectively by receptive it still was puzzling why the appointment was changed to a different consultant from the point of booking . I presume this was an administrative error.

I would like to give 5 Star feedback for Physio Mitch Hillstead.

Mitch has been helping me since my knee replacement and I can honestly say that his treatment has been amazing. He treats me with the utmost respect and has a great sense of humour, which puts me at ease.

Having had back problems for many years and seen a lot of Physios, I didn't feel that I benefitted from their treatment and, therefore, didn't have a lot of confidence in them. Mitch has now changed my opinion about Physios and, if I'd met him sooner, my back problems may not have lasted so long.

I was booked in for a Gallbladder removel with Dr jeddy for 12.30pm I received a call at 10.25 that morning asking me to come in as soon as I could, I arrived at the Spire wellesley at 11.am signed in it stated operation booked for 11.30am I was then taken up to my room where I stayed until 1.30pm I did think it was strange that they called me to come in earlier to have my operation later I was told I was the 1st one
Anyway everything went well I was well looked after by the lovely nurses in the day I asked if I could go home about 8pm & was told no ecause my blood pressure was low & they were checking it every 15 minutes I then asked was was the latest I would go home as my Son was picking me up from Romford which is 25 miles away & I didn't want him to come all that way if i wasn't coming out they said I wouldn't go home after 10pm so I called my son at 10 to say he could go to bed as he had work in the morning as they won't let me out now he said he was already in bed . I then went to sleep as I was exhausted & still suffering from the anesthetic then around 10.20 the night nurse woke me up to take my blood pressure she then came back around 10.30 to say I could go home I tried ringing my son but got no answer I said I can't get hold of anyone as it's past 11pm she said that's OK I can get you a cab. The cab arrived at 11.15 and took me home it was 8 miles from my house & the cab was £33 lucky I had my credit card with me I felt like the Nurse N Govus was a bit rude to me & my Partner & I personally feel this was because I'm an NHS patient. I personally think if you are going to discharge patient it should be no later than 10pm as I was informed i wouldn't be discharged after 10pm & disturbed my neighbours getting in the shared access to my property. I felt very rushed & could not sleep when I got home.

I had an operation on my foot to correct an existing ongoing problem at the Spire Wellesley yesterday, 21/11/24. From my arrival at reception to the end of my stay, the care and attention I received was first class. Special mention to Lyndsay, Lisa, Mariella, Courtney, Tia, Mat and Steve, Mr. Raza, my consultant, and his team. I could not fault any part of my stay. Thank you all for your total professionalism and care. Fantastic teamwork.

I was referred to this hospital as the NHS appointment time was over one year...
I arrived in chronic pain and was made to stand waiting for my appointment with one torn disk, 2 protruding disks with nerve impingement of the lower lumber spines, the doctor a Dr hasik was very rude, interrupting me several times, made me stand during my appointment and repeatingly referring to the fact that although he had performed my needed surgery many times successfully, because I was NHS (poor) it would be better to be referred to an NHS hospital.
Elitists at its best, if you can afford private care probably a good place to go, but if you are of common "stock" look elsewhere......
