I am extremely disappointed with the service at Spire East London hospital. My 3 week old child’s appointment was suddenly cancelled at the last minute due to staff unavailability on a weekend, which is completely unacceptable. I was assured that I would be contacted to reschedule at the earliest available date, but despite waiting, I never received any follow-up.

This lack of communication and organization is frustrating and unprofessional. Patients rely on these appointments for their health, and such disregard for people’s time and well-being is unacceptable. I expected better from a healthcare facility and would not recommend relying on them for timely care.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. I booked a consultation for my toddler, and the process was seamless. The team was quick, efficient, and highly professional, ensuring we felt well cared for throughout. I couldn't have asked for better service!

My experience at Spire Hospital was excellent! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A special mention goes to Thania Raza from the catering team, who went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of. Her kindness and attentiveness made such a difference. Our 9 year old son came in for a day procedure and I must say the care and communication from the time we came in to reception, then admitted to Bay 7 was superb! Special mention to nurse Alison who explained everything so well and answered all my son's many questions with patience, compassion and as my son said she answered him in simple and clear terms so that he could understand all that was happening and it helped him feel calmer and better. Nurse Emma was also so reassuring when Mom got a bit emotional too! 😀

We must also thank Thania for going through all dietary concerns and requirements and ensuring that my son was happy and satisfied with his meals also bearing in mind his nut allergy..all of that was considered and taken care of! Thank you to the amazing Mr. Misra and Dr. Bawa for a successful surgery and outcome. You couldn't be in better hands!

I’m in room 237 and Tanya has been amazing with her care and checking if I need another drink. She is a very warm and friendly person. After having GA it was nice to have Tanya who showed empathy and nothing was to much.

I cannot agree with all these negative comments regarding mistreatment of NHS patients. I’ve just had a knee replacement, and waited just 3 weeks. However, I was initially seen here a few months ago and was sent away in a grumpy fashion before asking my GP to follow up further.
The second consultant made it happen.
Don’t blame the establishment, blame certain individuals who maybe have a grudge (I was even criticised for coming on a motorbike even though I have a collapsible walking stick). This consultant also saw me at an NHS hospital and cancelled the same operation 6 years ago - on the DAY!
Since arriving everyone has been tremendous, from reception to anaesthetists to surgeon and aftercare (I just had ice cream at 5 in the morning).
It’s clean, efficient and staff are definitely not judgmental re NHS patients.

Completely stress free experience. Staff where all lovely, kind and friendly. We were looked after extremely well.
We had a lovely lunch served to us by Tania, she was a superstar and kept us well fed and watered during our visit.

I was a day patient at the hospital and every staff was nothing but pleasant to me. I was accompanied by my partner and the staff were incredibly reassuring and helped to ease any anxiety I had on the day.

We were offered lunch and despite my partner being indecisive with what she wanted to eat, the lady from the kitchen (Tania) was super helpful. Despite the numerous requests and changes, she was more than accommodating to us and made us really feel good with our choices
