Great service with professional staff and sophisticated equipment. The optician was able to call upon previous images to support her prognosis and help explain the situation.

Went to get my new varifocal glasses sorted and the staff could not have been more helpful. Outstanding customer service and really knowledgeable crew.

Went in here to have my ears cleaned out. The young lass sorry forgotten her name that did it was very quick and efficient. They use the vacuum system there was only a very mild discomfort. Was told to raise my hand if it hurt but no need. Very good improvements as both ears were quite blocked.

To all that use Specsavers in Havant .
I am disappointed with the service I had at the Specsavers in Havant in November 2024.
I have seen an optician for several eye issues , not vision related, I had paid for the health check and also had the vision check.
The optician found nothing wrong but some floaters and advised to go to emergency should my symptoms become worse .
He did prescribed a new prescription glasses .
I doubted it that my symptoms were going to be sorted with new prescription glasses , but accepted it .
£200 later and 2 weeks later I went to collect my glasses , I couldn’t see well with them . Assistant suggested a change in the lenses to make them intermediate and had to return in another 2 weeks .
I returned in another 2 weeks , I didn’t see any difference in the new glasses compared to my old glasses . I told the assistant which happened to be the manager . She told me that the glasses are the same as my old ones . I was perplexed ! I was sold yet another pair of glasses exactly the same as my last year ones , but my eye symptoms were not addressed !!!
I was so distressed and angry for wasting my time and sold glasses I didn’t need yet my eye health has not been addressed !!!
The manager told me that my symptoms are not at the levels to be referred to the NHS yet….
I was refunded the glasses charge .
I told her that I also have a private insurance , could I have a referral letter as not to burden the NHS. The referral letter seem to be an issue too … as the optician not willing to write it ….
I insisted upon the referral letter which was eventually sent by email to me …after all that distress !!!
The manager said she would call me…. She never did!!!
Very disappointing service, we are talking about EYES here, very important to all of us …
I will never go to Specsavers again !

You can’t beat Specsavers for price and service. They’ve looked after me for years.

The don’t get everything perfect sometimes a little wait can be annoying but the team at Havant are welcoming and guide you through the whole process.

My only criticism is the waiting chairs. So uncomfortable.
