I had an eye appointment on Saturday. I’d filled in online questionnaire. I stated that I had Dystonia( movement disorder) and Blepharospasm(involuntary eye blinking/twitching). The girls did their best. 3 came and went . Polite and kind but I was struggling.
Then I was called upstairs with Atul, he was ok, by now I was very emotional. He completed further tests. I explained my condition, he seemed unaware of it. Or problems it causes. He said glasses would improve my sight, NOT if my eyes won’t open !. I was told I need two pairs reading and distance. He took me downstairs and showed me what I could buy. I felt it was more about selling spectacles than service sadly .

I was making you aware that your staff didn't know what Blepharospasm was and it's difficulties . Some training or reading needed.

I have had an excellent experience at Specsavers Westway today. All of the staff were very friendly and professional and the shop is very clean and tidy.
I did my eye test with Jas who was very kind and professional. Raz welcomed me to the store and also helped me finding the right frames. He was absolutely brilliant and made me feel very welcome and confident about our choices, I really trusted his opinion. Thank you very much, looking forward to picking up my new glasses next week!

I went in today, as i was concerned of a glare in photos on my son’s right eye. The team were incredible. They explained every step, gave him loads of praise and encouragement. He was so happy and confident with the team, he even let them put eye drops in with our a bother. The lady had such a way with children. My son has only just turned four, so it was quite a new experience for him. But i am so happy that his first trip was such a positive one. We will be back in 6 months for a check up. They really eased my mind, explained all their findings, we was seen straight away. Very happy customer, thank you !

Naela was really helpful with getting an appointment and helping me through the payment process for reglazing my existing frames. I just ordered my lenses today and still didn't get them, I was told it would take around two weeks to get them ready. I will update my review when I get them.

Good evening I visited your branch yesterday 21st September and was served by a lovely lady called Kalpana. She took care of my needs and explained everything I needed to know about contact lenses direct debit. I was also attended by the lady who took my glasses/contact lens check she was very thorough. I've been a customer for years and have had many glasses and eye tests done here but they refused to adjust my glasses just because I didn't get it from them this time. Other Opticians have no problem adjusting for you no matter what. Go to Boots Opticians instead, they're better and It's just 1 minute away from this place.
