Dreadful customer service in this shop today. Was a queue of customers & no staff about. A girl called Mollie then came to reception, looked at the queue and walked away! Then I saw her & a young guy looking at the queue through the glass in the door at the top of the shop, which I presume was the staff room. Another customer asked an optician called Owen if there was anybody available to serve, and he put his finger up to her to signify for her to wait. This has got to be the worst customer service I've received, and Mollie definitely needs more training.

Called in store this morning as my glasses broke when cleaning them , was greeted by a young girl who looked to see if could put lenses in new frame. Unfortunately didn't have same frame and she asked Karen who kindly phoned all the branches in the area to see if could get frame elsewhere. Brilliant customer service, Karen even called me back with an update !! Thank you so much really appreciate this

Good service for my
eye test and choice of glasses. However I was contacted to collect my glasses and had to wait 25 minutes before someone could serve me with my glasses and check they fit properly. Not good at all therefore can I suggest that an appointment system for glasses collection be put back in place as this worked much better

Avoid! Kept waiting long past my appointment time for my eye test. Then it was rushed by another optician. Waited 10 days for my new glasses and everything was blurry with the varifocals they supplied. The woman who dispensed my prescription was very loud and a verbal bully. Not interested in whether I could see with the glasses at all! Very unpleasant experience all round.

Although have used Specsavers for many years it's the first time I have been to Cramlington for an eye test . The sight test was extremely thorough & professional & the optician was extremely knowledgeable in trying to sort out my double vision problem. All the staff were courteous, friendly & helpful. Would highly recommend

Had eye test today, was really busy Saturday morning which I can appreciate but the optometrist came across incredibly rude during the exam I don’t think I’ll go back for an eye test here because of him. Made me feel really uncomfortable and wasn’t a pleasant experience at all.

Me and my wife both had our eyes tested today and also CT scanned for a little extra, which I recommend.
The store was very busy when we were there and I can only say that everything about the service we were given was absolutely spot on, from the test itself all the way through to selecting lenses and frames and measurements.
The staff genuinely had time for us and every step was thorough and professional, pretty much one to one service. Thank You.
